WOW!!! I waited all most 2 years to visit this place and regret NOT going sooner. Being a native El Pasoan it's so hard to find that true authentic taste of home until now!! The red enchiladas literally took me way back....I never thought I would ever experience the same taste anywhere other than in El Paso until now. VERY... More

The nacho cheese appetizeer is very good, the service is quick and efficient and the cost is within reason.

Abuelo's is a wonderful place to eat. The food and atmosphere is great. They have a variety of Mexican food and some American too. They have great margaritas too. You can go casual is just fine.

Most everything I have eaten here has been very good. The salsa they bring to the table is very good. I prefer the chicken enchiladas best.

If the chips and hot sauce are good then I am happy. The sauces were great. The chips were thin, crispy, warm=perfect. The young man that waited on us did a great just b for our party of 10.

If you happen to eat here, be sure and sit in the bar area. Greg the bartender is possibly the best in town. His personality, friendly conversation, and attentiveness always make for a great night out. The food is also very good.

I like this restaurant for the food and atmosphere. The pappas are a really good unexpected choice for a side. The queso is about the best in town. The service is always good. I seem to be stuck on getting the enchiladas. Parking can sometimes be an issue. They get very busy at noon. I would suggest going a little... More

We have loved this restaurant since we first visited years ago. Now that we have moved back it is the first we think of when craving Mexican food. Both the spinach and avocado enchiladas are the best ever!! Thinking about them makes my mouth water! If you are watching your diet, however, save them for a special dinner. They are... More
