After 4years of not getting it, I was in Amarillo, on Wednesday, for Mike’s Smoked Meatloaf! - I had to ask, “How’d you”

Traveling through Amarillo to Trinidad Colorado, already knowing, Wednesday was the only day Mike offered his Smoked Meatloaf, so we were there at opening. I ordered us 2 smoked sandwiches, green, & potato salads, which was 4 slices of munch miracle!, My Cherokee warrior plumber was amazed again. Afterwards, I asked the haven-hands - “How’d you make that, man”? 8 hrs in the smoke chamber! Keep partying, we can’t be stopped.

Great place for Barbeque

The new building is great, lots of room and the service is good. Food was very good, can taste the smoke flavor in every bite and the barbecue sauce is the best in town. It is a bit out of the way on western, but it is worth the trip. You will not be disappointed.

Full of flavor!

You'll be hard pressed to find better barbecue than Spicy Mike's. The ribs are meaty and full of flavor; the sliced beef is tender and so tasty. My wife loves the chopped beef sandwich - even the small is hard to finish in one sitting. It's piled high with finely flavored meat without the fat. I've had several of the sausages, and all were tasty. Even the sides are sooo good. And if you haven't had enough after lunch/dinner, don't miss the cobbler! It's only open Wed-Sat, so there's often a line. But the staff is helpful and friendly getting your order taken and served, and the wait is well worth it!

Great take out in tough times

Folks if you or your family are craving great BBQ, Spicy Mike’s is for you. Their take out is just as good as their dine in was. Many options for meat (brisket, three types of sausage, beef ribs, pork, and ham). They also have awesome sides (Mike-a-roni, potato salad, and coleslaw), and desserts. Now, some debate dry or wet. While I prefer Mike’s spicy BBQ sauce on the brisket, ribs, sausage and pulled pork, I can and do enjoy them dry as well. Nice smoke (maybe a blend of woods?), not over powering, great smoke ring. So, if y’all are getting stir crazy, go grab some BBQ.

Oh my gosh, good!!!

This Texas barbecue does not disappoint! Our family had brisket by the pound with cornbread, the bean special and the Taos special. All delicious! Definitely spicy as well as flavorful. Loved the casual, fun, Christian atmosphere. Don’t forget to ring the cowbell on your way out if you love the food! You will 😊

Best BBQ in Town

By far best bbq in town. I crave the smoked chciken on fridays. The ribs taste amazing dry. If you like soicy mac n cheese have to try mikes. True Texas BBQ

Delicious BBQ

Absolutely fantastic! Loved every bite, and you must try the turkey. Phenomenal! Stop what you are doing and head to this restaurant! Very friendly service. One more thing... get the peach cobbler!!!

Spicy Rib Ends

Got a deal on Groupon for this place and what a great deal it was!

Took my Groupon coupon to Spicy Mike's and got excellent service from everybody working there. Ended up with brisket, sliced/chopped and potato salad. All really delicious and the bbq sauce definitely has a nice kick to it! We will be back.
