We went to Crush on the basis of all the reviews. We had lunch and ordered two panini sandwiches...a Chicken with Brie and a Cuban. Both were dry with little flavor, served with 'house chips'. Ok, but not anything like the previous strong reviews.

Frequently we meet a group of friends for dinner downtown and this is one of our favorite restaurants. The food is delicious. Not the typical Amarillo menu. Great wines and beers. Service is always very good. Even when they are busy. We like that they have both indoor and outdoor seating.

It's difficult to give this place a low rating, as they have everything it takes to be great. It has a very snobbish feel. We were dressed well, and wanted to treat ourselves, but the service was lousy. Happy Hour was still in effect, but no mention/offer of that, we almost had to force them to give us the Happy... Mary I want to apologize for your lack of service! Crush should be the last place you should feel any snobbery, and we take all bad reviews very seriously! I am sorry about the whole happy hour situation it was an error on our part and that is not the service standard we strive for. We do however have an... More

We were driving through Amarillo and wanted a nicer lunch than a chain sandwich. I ordered a salad and my husband ordered a Cubano and sweet potato fried - we shared and enjoyed all.

Recently, we stayed in Amarillo, Texas at the downtown Marriott Courtyard located in the historic Fisk Building. There are a number of interesting restaurants and clubs right across the street. We chose Crush and sat out on the patio. There are a variety of

Had a family meal here. And while it is a bar known for its wines, we enjoyed the atmosphere and the food.

Fantastic beer selection, fantastic wine list. I had a merlot blend on tap which was really great. The wild hog and cranberry sausage was some of the best I've ever eaten; paired with smoky blue cheese. Coffee rubbed steak frites were 100% top notch as well. Extremely friendly bar tender topped it off.

We ate on the Crush patio during a recent stop in Amarillo. I had the vegetarian Shepard's pie, and my wife had flatbread. Both were very good. The wine and beer selection is excellent. There were several beers on draft and many more bottles and cans. A good choice in downtown Amarillo!

The food was great! I ordered the steak with an aioli sauce and the truffle fries. It was great about $20. My friend had the ribeye steak with Mac and cheese $33 she too said it was delicious. We had the queso dip to start and it was good. They had a great beer and wine selection, no liquor. Overall... More
