I have lived in the area for 30 years. Never stopped here because I’m not a drinker and it’s called “Gordon Street tavern” little did I know what a unique and interesting menu they have. If you come once you will be hooked
Good locale hangout.
Bourdain balls and crawfish cheese dip were outstanding.
Redfish dinner and chicken fried steak for meals. Both good!
Next time there I would get the fish. Very limited Scotch selection from bar. New girl server, forgot a few things but pleasant and...had to make extra trips.
We will go back.More
The food was decent. That is the best I can say about it. The service was terrible. Our waitress was close to being rude. She was unhelpful. The place was not busy at all we got very little attention from her. I will never be...back.More
Set out on the really big deck And enjoyed watching people go by for the market out by the train station. Had chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes, which was average. Wife had sweet chili wings which were excellent. Good selection of craft beers on...tap.More
The food is very good. The 3 rating is due to the service, had to flag our waiter down 4 times to get extra service. Three waitstaff were on duty and sat at the bar area on there cell phones more than watching the tables....They did not have regular plates when I asked for one, just cardboard trays, was hard to cut the food up.
They have plenty of TV's spaced around to watch the sports games. Good atmosphere and cold beverages.More
GST is one of our favorites. Good menu selection from appetizers to main courses. The burgers are really good as well. One of my favorites is the deep fried Avocado. In addition to the great food is the full bar and huge craft beer selection....The staff is very friendly too. Do yourself a favor and give it a try.More
