The title says it all. Being from Texas I love Chicken Fried Steak. I've eaten a lot of great ones all over this state. Generally they come with old fashioned cream gravy. I'm a fan. It is how they are served at Magoo's also... BUT there is another option. Green Chile sauce. I think it cost a dollar more, but... More

The eggs were cooked just right, but the bacon was crispy and done just the way I asked for it. Love this place!

Good food, generous portions, clean and friendly service. Seems to be a favorite among locals. The green chicken enchiladas are very good and so are the tacos. Fairly priced.

Loved our brunch here. Stayed up late for the star party at the observatory in Ft Davis so slept in and had brunch here. I got the huevos rancheros which was perfectly spicy and so good. Wife loved the Magoorrito while my little boy had a good breakfast taco and my daughter really enjoyed her French toast. Prices were good,... More

We have visited several times but only for breakfast. From burritos to just eggs and bacon to pancakes... it's all good!! Always crowded but worth the wait. Fast service. Only down side is the flies...lots of them.

Had breakfast with my son at Magoo's last week. It was my first visit. The first good sign was that there was a table full of locals eating breakfast, drinking coffee and solving the world's problems right as you enter the restaurant. I ordered an omelet and my son had pancakes and bacon. The food was good and the service... More

As a resident of Alpine this my daughter's "Go To' place for breakfast and lunch. So we joined her and MANY locals for several visits during our extended stay. We were never disappointed with the quality and quantity of the genuine Mexican food that they serve. Each time we were going on a long road trip (and most trips from... More

Greasy spoon diner. Really good burgers, mexican plate lunches, breakfasts. Waitress is a jewel. I have eaten here many times. Try the "Piggy" for breakfast. Not on the menu but very good.
