Ordered huevos breakfast from new menu with higher prices. Comes with 2 eggs, bacon, potatoes, and toast. Stated toast with butter please, eggs over medium to go. Waited 10 min. Received order with pancakes no toast, they took it back, did not remake eggs. Waited 6 min, received order...no potatoes. Owner argued with me it did not come with potatoes.... More

My family is from California - been in Texas for about 12 years now, and while we've come to appreciate (dare I say enjoy) TexMex, however there is something about more traditional (to us) Mexican fare that we love, and El Grande Burrito fits the bill. If you're traveling (or just moved here) from California and you haven't got the... More

We had our Christmas Eve breakfast here this morning. If you want a good, authentic Tex-mex breakfast, look no farther than El Grande Burrito. It never disappoints.

I am a frequent visitor to El Grande but this is first review. EG is a small little diner in a small shopping strip. I have experienced breakfast and lunch on numerous occasions. This is about authentic as you can get in Allen. The burritos are huge and very tasty. All the meats are well prepared and usually have a... More

If you are in the Allen area for lunch/breakfast and are craving Mexican food, then look no farther. I have tried many things on their menu and you absolutely cannot go wrong with any of their breakfast items. My personal favorite is the chorizo and egg breakfast burrito. For lunch, I generally go with a chimichanga with discada, pork and... More

We eat breakfast lunch and dinner! Everything is fantastic! Veggie breakfast tacos to tortilla soup, I've never had a bad meal. They may be a little slow but that's because they cook to order. Go to this place you won't regret it!

Everything we have had there is good. This is a regular stop for us during lunch. Friday is "Fish Taco" day and they serve a great plate of food for less than $8 including drink.

Try their Gorditas, very authentic. Good margaritas, great chips and quac. I grew up in El Paso, this is as good as EP.

I do have strong opinions regarding this place. This restaurant nothing less than a success story for the city of Allen. Liz has managed to create the only authentic Mexican eatery within the area and the quality of the food surpasses all others. This isn't a high dollar location with high prices, it's just the opposite. The location is unassuming,... More

My daughter recently moved to Allen and I was craving a great Mexican lunch, definitely not a chain restaurant. Her new neighbor recommended this spot and it was excellent. The prices are excellant and the offer a wide range of taco meats and burritos besides some seafood dishes. I would recommend the tacos, listed on the menu as A-Town tacos.... More
