The recent Burger Wars on a local channel said they were the best and now I am a believer! A little more expensive than the usual non-fast food burgers, they are well worth it. I tried the standard cheese burger at medium and it was...More

We walked to the 5050 and took a seat. They had a special Easter brunch menu from which I ordered bacon and eggs. In a short period, I had 3 eggs over medium, two sausage patties and 3 pieces of bacon. And, everything was prepared...More

This is a neat little hole in the wall on Broadway Street in Alamo Heights. The sliders and onion rings (handmade) are delicious.

Visited here a few times, always good service. The chicken fried steak was really tasty. The mashed potatoes that came with were delish & garlicky. Vodka & soda were stout. I visit San Antonio often- this is an easy go-to place!

Something of a local hangout that gets busy Friday night. Bar is ok, what you'd expect for a neighborhood joint but the food is passable.

If you're traveling, it's not likely you would stumble across the Five O Dive O, but it's an '09 institution, and worth a stop in to experience a true 40's - 50's bar. It's in Alamo Heights, so perfectly safe, and very popular on the...More

With booths and long bar and checkerboard floors, the 50's are alive and well at the Broadway 50/50. Another local institution serving good burgers, fries and beer.

This neighborhood bar on Broadway looks to be small from the street, but has good room inside. Large selection of draft and bottle beers at reasonable prices. The food was great for a bar. We had some of the best cheeseburger sliders I have had....More
