My husband and I always order the brisket. We have been coming here for the past 5 years and recently I noticed a change in management. The other people that I see often are not there anymore. The brisket can be inconsistent, most of the time it can be moist/juicy but there are times that it's been kind of dry... More

Loved their sausage, ribs, and brisket! Side dishes were ok but the meat is what we really came for. We really wanted some pulled pork ( my daughter said that was her favorite the last time she had been there) but they were already sold out. When they're out apparently they are out. So if you are going for a... More

Been to Texas Pride many times with a great experience. Never experienced rude service. Our family drives 45 minutes just for the brisket. Last night we order two meat double brisket. Only to be told you are not allowed to order double brisket. What???? We always order double brisket. So we ask for pulled pork... couldn't get that either they... More

Have been going here for over a decade. Tony has build a great experience with great food. Especially the brisket. I get sliced, my wife likes chopped. We liked the original sandwich rolls but he changed to sourdough a number of years ago.

The line always goes out the door and around the parking lot. We happened to go when they had there BBQ and Fish Fry and it was packed. The food was very, very, good.

We ordered the two meat dinner with two sides. We had the ribs brisket and chicken. We thought the ribs were the best of the three we tried. The sides we had were cheesy potatoes and Mac and cheese. The prices were high for the serving sizes. The food was not hot only slightly warm. Would not go back

We had about given up on finding good BBQ in the San Antonio area until someone recommended that we try Texas Pride. Really good food. It's a bit off the beaten path, but well worth the drive. Give it a try. Our favorites are the brisket and the ribs.

Even it is a bit of a drive, Texas Pride BBQ is an awesome place to dine. The brisket is moist and flavorful. The sausage has great flavor and just the amount of seasoning. The sides are ample. The cheesy potatoes and creamed corn are a must try. They offer delicious cobblers and ice cream for desserts. They also on... More

Honey Baby Darlins and I stopped in to share a 4 meat platter for dinner. Great price. Tennessee has nothing on Texas when it comes to brisket (ribs are a different story). Sausage was great too. Cheesy potatoes were not great. Pinto beans were awesome. Great meal and a military discount! I'll be back.

Whether you want a good tattoo or good bbq come on down to Adkins to Loop 1604. A honky tonk that serves wonderful pulled pork with lots of outdoor seating and a band most night. You file through the line and have a choice of joining the gang outside for music or staying in the ac and watching a game... More
