Great Sunday Brunch

Meals here are always good but their Sunday Brunch is reasonably price, plenty of food choices and good service too.

Blue Mesa wait staff is very good but last week their food was minimally palatable - too salty and too much chili powder. The avocado made-at-the-table appetizer was beautiful but unfortunately seasoning was off! Avacado enchilada with tomatillo sauce was also too salty and rice had too much chili powder. Thank goodness the mojito was tasty but pour was light.... More

Brunch is delicious! It's not a standard brunch buffet, but is a mecca for tex-mex awesomeness! I highly recommend the salads and soups, and the breakfast hash. They offered 3 types of mini flan. It was a very big buffet, come hungry.

4 of us dined here (we taxied there and walked back from the Intercontinental Hotel). Margarita was perfectly acceptable (and a good deal during happy hour for $5.) The vegetarian chile relleno stuffed with sweet potatoes, beans, goat cheese was simply FANTASTIC. I actually wanted to go back my second night in town just to have the same thing again,... More

On Friday November 20 my family and I went to celebrate a birthday. That day however my daughter had been accepted into 9 colleges for performing Arts in Dance with colleges across the country. The waiter heard our conversations at the table and joined in on our celebration. He asked my daughter all about the schools and engaged with our... More

We arrived at 8:30, with the restaurant scheduled to close at 9:00. As we walked in the hostess leaned over to get menus and asked how many people in our party. To be polite, we asked if it was too late to be coming in. She straightened up and said "actually, it is. We just closed the kitchen." We left... More

Went to Blue Mesa for lunch. Really great atmosphere. All our choices were very good. I had enchiladas--a bit spicy but very good. Wonderful menu with many choices. Regular corn chips and sweet potato chips. Guacamole made fresh on a cart by the table.
