We tried their takeout menu due to coronavirus restrictions and are happy to report that their pineapple curry and five-star noodle dishes were as excellent as ever. We ordered through Chownow and had no issues. Service was friendly and efficient. Plenty of free parking in front.

One of the best Thai food all around . They even have live music here on a Saturday night for dinner. It’s located in far corner of a dead empty plaza . Very strange location but worth the findings.

Fantastic food. Had the green curry and fried rice. Tremendous flavor and lovely fresh herbs. Great service as well and super reasonable prices. DFW gem!

This is our go-to, To-Go place for Thai food in Addison. Great consistency.
Ask for extra rice on the curry dishes.
Restaurant seating is very small.

Love Thai Star! Def one of the best Thai restaurants in town. The food is always good, as is the service, and their wine prices let you know they want to sell a lot of wine.
We ordered a bottle of The Crossings Sauvignon Blanc for $18.00. The wine was a perfect match for the food.
We started with an order of crispy spring rolls. The order is huge, with 4 rolls that are cut in half. The are light and crispy with no evidence of grease.
For dinner we shared hot & spicy with shrimp and pad see ew with scallops. We ordered spiciness of level 3 out of 5. I usually order 4 out of 5 but the restaurant was a little warm and we didn't want to sweat through dinner. Three was just right. Both dishes were full of seafood and were delicious. We've had all their noodle dishes and they are excellent.
There was a guitar player/singer there who was pretty good.
This is one of our regular restaurants and it should be your too.

I try to get to this restaurant whenever I visit the Farmers Branch area of Dallas, TX. The atmosphere is appealing and the food is very good as well as reasonably priced.

This is the best Thai food restaurant in town!! All the menu items are delicious & you can't go wrong with any of their dishes. Being vegetarians, we order different kinds of curries & some with/without tofu. Staff is VERY accommodating. Recently went their with a friend who is allergic to garlic & upon request, they were able to fulfill our special needs with no trouble at all. All the food tasted delicious!! Don't forget to try their mosoman curry. It is my favorite!!

The staff is very courteous and helpful. Smaller restaurant. The menu offers a variety of items with choices of “heat” levels. Two of us had lunch and were pleased with our entrees. Weekday lunch specials are available. We will go again.

If you are looking for authentic Thai food! Thai Star is the place. The food is delicious and the staff is so nice. If you do not know what you want or should work, ask them. They will propose several options based on your taste. Recommend it.

This is a great little Thai restaurant tucked away in Addison tx off of midway drive.
I’ve been there few times with family and friends for lunch and dinner and the food is altgreat.

This is a small space in one of Addison's strip malls -- just off of Restaurant Row. Even before noon on a Tuesday the place is almost 100% full. Lunch special with Thai Soup, Spring Roll and Panang Curry with Chicken with white rice came out quickly was flavorful and not too large a portion. Curry served in a bowl with rice on the side. Number 4 spicy is not very spicy here... so if you are a spice-seeker, go higher than 4.
