I tried to make reservations for 4 online and was informed I had to give them a credit card and pay for reservations. There are many places to eat in DFW, we won't be going there.

Do not go to this location if you have more than 2 people. I have been to the Arlington location several times and always had a good time. We always go with a 4 person group and are seated at a table with 2 burners....We always get the 4 course menu. We are given 2 types of cheeses, 2 types of chocolate and 2 sets of side dippers. We are charged the 2 person 4 course meal price twice. The total comes to about $200 or so. Today we went to the Addison location expecting the same experience. When we arrived we were seated at a table with only one burner. I asked the server if we would be charged less since we only had 1 burner and would not be given the options for 2 different cheeses or chocolate. I was told that we would not be charge any less even though we are being served less food. I ended up paying $253 for the same meal a party of two would of payed half that. I would of been better if I would of separated our group and had 2 different tables for the same costMore

Decent food but super slow service. I know they are limited on people but it was past the point of terrible. The vegetables for the cheese fonue was not good. Broccoli and carrots not fresh. Felt that they cheated us on the portions of meat...for two people. Also, when they brought out meat to cook, the platter had blood in it from the meats. Very unsanitary and gross. Tge place is very outdated. Sister in wheelchair and had to go to back of building to find elevator. Did like the chocolate portion of the meal. Still love The Melting Pot but will not visit this location again.More

This is a difficult review for me because actually had a great time there and the food was actually very good. The management of this place does not exist. The staff is all over the place they are so unprofessional and poorly trained that they...have no chance of getting good reviews. I will say they try hard but without proper training 😱 what a cluster. From the moment of arrival and not being able to find reservation and then waiting at bar, the bartender was very unprofessional to then our waitress that was very nice but so flustered and unprofessional for a dinner that is $150 for two people. I would expect that service at a chain burger restaurant. Now on the food side the food was fantastic very interactive, we had a great time and you will need to plane 3 hours minimum for this meal. Ours took 3.5 hours from arrival to departure and at least an hour could have been reduced with some organization.More

My husband took me there for a walk down memory lane for my surprise Valentines weekend. He worked very hard at it and on this night he ordered the Deluxe Valentines Package to make it extra special. Shortly after we arrived, the Hostess took us...back to our table. Although he made reservations in advance, the table was not ready when we sat down. I did not realize it and was pleased with how it was set-up, but she soon realized my flowers and more 🌹 were on another table and asked my husband (in front of me,) “Did you get the $300 package?” My husband hesitantly responded “Yes” because he did not want me to know the financial details, only enjoy this night he had ever so carefully planned for us. She asked him that because she wanted to make sure the flowers 🌹and champagne glasses 🥂 that were on the other table were ours. Our waitress came and she was very pleasant, that helped to make it nice. The food was plentiful and parts of it were really tasty. I enjoyed my seafood 🍤 selection, but my husband said his meat course (primarily beef 🥩) was bland, without a lot of taste. We did enjoy some of our vegetables and loved the white chocolate fondue we selected for dessert. Neither one of us were crazy about their stuffed pasta which was part of our main entree, but they were a part of a pretty presentation. I did order a Love Martini which was delectable. I usually don’t get a drink, but this was a special night so I ordered one. The waitress asked me if I wanted another (I believe we were on our appetizers,) and I said “Yes.” They brought me the drink AFTER we were finished with both our main and dessert course and we’re fixing to leave. I told the waiter I really wanted it with my meal and that we were finished and that I didn’t want it now. He was different from our regular waitress and was in shock it took them so long to serve the martini. Overall, with my husband’s sweet heart ❤️ and him trying so hard, it was a good night. Some of the food was really good and I enjoyed the ambiance of it. My husband was not too thrilled, but was glad I liked it. I would give some parts a three and others a four. It was a very nice Valentines my husband planned.More

Waiter was insulting. Didn’t bring spoons for the sauces. Had to ask him to bring more broth 3 times because it had evaporated. Chocolate was cold when it was brought out. Manager didn’t really care.

What an absolute waste of 3 hours, waiter had no clue..(filling tea glasses with coke, salads forgotten, orders wrong, even with a limited menu due to New Years. One of the Heating pots never warmed up enough to even cook on , we all used...1 pot. The establishment wasn’t even busy. The manger was useless even apologetic for the bad service. About an hour into our dinning experience our party of 8 debated just walking out. That’s what we should have done. Now I’m thinking I may dispute the charge when it shows up. I’ve never not left a tip for bad service but on a bill of over $500 we left nothing. To many better choices in the area for a bad service experience.More

We had reservations, when we got there we had to wait despite the restaurant being almost empty. The service was not great, we ordered two adult entrees and two child meals, they only brought one bread and apple board and only one salad, when I...asked why they said they didn't realize we had ordered two entrees. They never did bring another bread and apple serving or another salad despite charging us full price for both entrees. The child's meal was supposed to come with a special dessert that was never served either. The server was not able to tell us about any of the wines and was not knowledgeable about the different cooking broths or styles. Lots of reviews talk about small portion sizes, this is true, the portion of all the meat was probably less than 6 oz total. Also the filet was very tough and didn't seem like it was filet.More

This place was amazing. Our server Bryan was so chirpy and his service was excellent !!! Kudos to him for being very professional and so bubbly!!! This restaurant surely would be an ideal dinner spot for a special occasion than for a casual dinner(or both...could work) You gota let your server explain to you what you are in store for ...so that you know the drill! Their cheese fondue is the highlight I guess and it was fricking delicious!! The meat options and shrimp in the entrees are of such high quality. My husband and I loved the garlic lemon shrimp, cajun beef and the pork we selected. We were sooooo full we skipped desert - the famous chocolate fondue ( next time maybe) Overall a wonderful melting pot experience! Thank you for an amazing dinner! We will be back for sure.👍👍More

First time at a Melting Pot. We thought it was a cool idea. The menu is confusing in terms of pricing and courses. But our waiter did a good job helping us navigate it. The cheese course was really good. Many choices. Next is a...salad. Nothing special but good. Main course we did the pick three. You get to cook your meats at your table. We choose cast iron skillet. Recommended cook times honestly don’t work, because it depends on how you like your food cooked. My 10 year didn’t like the fact she had to cook her own food. Food was good, you don’t think it’s going to fill you but it does. The best course was dessert, we did s’mores. Was amazing! So many choices to dip in the chocolate!More
