There are a few barbecue places in Maryville. We tried Bread of Heaven from its truck in the Big Lots parking lot. The barbecue was fresh and good. The sauce was delicious. The price was a little high but you got a TON of bbq on your sandwich. We had homemade fries with our sandwiches. The fries were not traditional... More

This place doesn't have a permanent location. He travels to different locations in the county but wherever he goes you can bet he has a huge following! The BarBQue is absolutely amazing and would be a challenge to find better. The man knows what he is doing!

I've seen Bread of Heaven doing business out of a mobile restaurant van in Alcoa for some time, but just never took the time to stop and sample his food. Big mistake. The other day I stopped into the new store at Rt 321 & Melrose Station Rd for two dinners. The Saturday special was pulled pork and I chose... More

I sent my 18 daughter with the order for what we would like to have for our Sunday after church lunch. She is not one to correct anyone on mistakes but is very sociable. Went here on Trip saw their menu and took everyone's orders off of it. On here it does not really specify wither it was for the... More

Recently opened in Walland, quite close to the Smoky Mts. and Cades Cove. The BBQ is wonderful, also the ribs. Great sauce. It is a small place with a few tables. The folks that work there are very friendly and will make sure your food is good. I got mine to go , and am going back soon to eat... More

This place. I was introduced to it by a friend who had prior knowledge of it from when he worked in Knoxville (just a short dive away). I was a bit skeptical about it, but when we pulled up and there were old 55 gallon drums being used as grills/smokers on the front lawn, I knew I was in for... More
