I eat at Malia's when I can, especially when I feel I need comfort or sanctuary. I get good service. The chef is personable and I see him often talking to guests. I LOVE how attention is paid not just to the protein but to the vegetables on the plate. I have had an excellent steak there, and the chef... More

With the white tablecloths and wine glasses, I guess I expected a bit more. It is pricey, so keep that in mind.

My wife and I celebrated our 29th anniversary at Malia's which also happened to be our first visit to this highly rated establishment. It did not disappoint. Our server Camille was attentive and friendly. The house sausage deviled eggs were a great starter. My wife's pork scallopini with caesar's salad and my roasted salmon with spinich salad were both excellent.... More

From the first welcome to the last goodbye this has been a wonderful, FAVORITE place to dine. Our most recent visit was early on a Saturday evening - we have found that earlier is better for quieter dining. We three had drinks, starters, main courses and desserts. House salads were hearty and the pumpkin shrimp soup was a pleasant surprise.... More

The atmosphere was pleasant but a tad noisy. The food was outstanding! I had the pork scallopini and it was one of the best dishes I have had. Two large scallopini were served over bed of mashed potatoes subtly flavored with butternut squash. The mushroom sauce on the pork was complex and balanced. Everything just pleased the pallet.

The food was good. My company has a budget so they would not be happy if I turned in a bill from here. I think it would be great date place for older folks. I have been there several times. It is clean.

Malia's is consistently my favorite restaurant. My first visit was met with high quality and exquisite flavor from start to finish. From the spinach salad, to the warm olive bread and other assorted breads, to the main dish, to the wine, to the dessert, every component delivered unique and perfect tastes and textures. I have since visited 10 to 20... More

Southern charm with a surprisingly attractive and flavorful menu. Maybe the South is a great place for everything barbecue, however, Malia's goes with an original menu that incorporates tradition with new American cuisine... Enjoyable indeed

My wife and I were "evacuees" from Summerville during the recent hurricane. We ended up in Aiken and were very pleased with town ... beautiful little town. But the hi-lite of our trip was our Friday night meal at Malia's. Our waiter Tim was great ... the entree's were wonderful ... BUT ... the baked oyster appetizer was outstanding. We've... More
