While visiting my family this week, we went to Track Kitchen 2 mornings in a row and wish we had gone there the 3rd morning (we sadly went to a "fancier" place that 3rd morning). This is an old building with no frills dining areas...it...More

It's not beaten, it's dirt. Located in the horse district of Aiken, it is not unusual to see a horse or two walking by to go exercise (hence the dirt road). You place your order at the counter and then take a seat. While waiting,...More

We went here the Saturday morning before the spring steeplechase. Expecting a homey, no frills good breakfast. We did not have to wait in line, and it was not crowded. It is clearly a one woman show, ie: the lady who took our order, was...More

Get there early enough and you might eat with the horse trainers near the Aiken Training Track. The food is basic fare but very good if you can get service promptly...otherwise cooling is an issue. What makes it, of course, is the environment and the...More

Have been visiting this location for the last 10 plus years. When it is open during the season it is the place to eat breakfast in Aiken. Would highly recommend.

Hidden away on a dirt road in the horse training district. A fun stop: food is good, but you walk out with the 'aroma' of all the frying. It is a unique tourist find. As a visitor to Aiken it is what starts or ends...More

It is just like home. Never miss it when I go home. Don't expect much in the way of "décor" but there is a fantastic collection of horseracing pictures to peruse. Just make yourself comfortable and enjoy a true southern breakfast.
