This is the absolute best place I have ate. Friendly staff. Great food. Good value. I recommend trying the loaded baked potato soup and cheese fries!

The Greeter and Waitress were excellent, attentive and helpful. The burgers were average but the Pot Pies were very good. The restaurant is a good value, especially on a budget or with kids, with an exception. The French Fries were limp, oily, and tasteless. They should really work on that.
We were visiting family and stopped here for dinner. The first impression was not good - the hostess did not smile or make us feel welcome. I kept watching her to see if she would eventually smile but she only appeared as if she'd rather be anywhere else. In walks our waitress Toni and her trainee Amber- and they more... More
Infrequent visitors who were pleasantly surprised by a new menu since our last visit. Although there was a waiting list, our two-some was seated within minutes. One order of the chopped salad (highly recommend) and one order of the original Fatz sampler (I couldn't decide). Of course we shared. Ribs were, "fall off the bone" delicious. Calabash chicken, their signature... More
We went here for lunch. This was on a Tuesday. We were seated promptly. Our server was courteous and knowledgeable. She made several suggestions which helped in our decision on what to order. Food delivery was a little slower than I thought, because they were not very busy at that time. I had the Shrimp bisque which was excellent and... More
We are winterizing in Aiken. We went to Katz on our first night in town. We had Calabash Chicken and Shrimp which was very good and Pot Pie which was also very good. We were there again last evening and had the pork chop with peach chutney and the ribs. Both entrees were delicious and reasonably priced. The staff is... More
First let me say the service was friendly and the tea was good. And that's about all I can say good. We ordered firecrackers, they came out flat. Seriously. They weren't any shape. Not sure what happened there! Then my chicken sandwich looked so good. I cut it in half so I could get a good handle on it before... More
My wife and I have been to the FATZ here in Aiken, SC many times. We have never been disappointed. The food has always been delicious and the service has always been excellent. And the prices are very reasonable, too. We'll be going back soon, I am sure. Art in Aiken
Today we had a party tray carry out. The wings were very good but the Calabash chicken was mostly tough, stingy thin pieces of chicken with twice as much breading as chicken on each piece. What a big disappointment. It will be a while before we do this again.
