We had the opportunity to again sample the excellent food and service at The Whitney in 2019 on our first visit to Aiken. We decided to return to Aiken and the primary activity was to enjoy another evening at The Whitney. Again, the service, the...food and the ambiance were perfect. Thank you to Wendy for the outstanding service, the chef for the excellent meals and Scott for the unique cocktail recommendation. We are already looking forward to the next time we can visit and enjoy the wonderful cuisine and experience that you provide. The evening was perfect!More

We had a lovely meal at The Whitney on Sunday. Super friendly staff and the food was amazing! We started with the shrimp appetizer - lightly battered and great flavor. The Argentinian tomato bisque was outstanding! My husband had the pork and enjoyed every bit....Thanks to the staff for a wonderful meal and great service.More

The Whitney is cozy and professionally run and the dining experience is great. Have a beer outside at Aiken Brewing Co. and your morning coffee at the New Moon Cafe

The Whitney is a small restuarant that has great food. The chef always prepares excellent food. And one can enjoy a nice cocktail, too!

We are a very small restaurant, and we hope you'll be back for dinner. Thanks for your kind words.

Dinner for four on a Tuesday @ 6:45. This place is busy. Good for them. The Whitney is really nicely decorated. They may have room for 30-35 people, including the bar. Make a reservation. We ordered an eclectic mix of stuff. The mussels are very...good, although the waiter did not know where they came from. That is not good. The soup came with bread, which was nicely done. I would order Caesar salad dressing on the side, as it came off as very strong. Mac & cheese very good. One suggestion from Malbec lovers at the table-there are better mid-priced options than what you are offering. We would change it out. All in all, a nice spot, with a good looking bar for another visit. Nice work.More

We really enjoy the atmosphere and the food at this great Aiken downtown eatery. There is not a bad item on the menu and the bartender/owner is a wonderful mixologist. The selection of wines and spirits is outstanding. It is a must for everyone with...great taste living in Aiken or just visiting. Make reservations if you would like to dine. The bar seats also fill up quickly with a who’s who of Aiken and the area.More

Small crowded spaces; tends to get loud at times. We had three meals - one very good and two mediocre. The main issue was service. It was an hour after were seated when the meals came. During that interim the waitress visited us once to...apologize; some 20 minutes later the bar manager came to offer some words - - there was a large party that had to be served and there was a small kitchen. (Not sure these are acceptable reasons.) All said without any apology and in a dismissive tone. Not going back.More

We are a very small restaurant as you said. When one staff does not show up it effects us greatly. We appreciate your patience and hope you'll try us again.

Our 5th time to whitneys and we made 7:15pm reservations on January 4th for my wifes birthday and seated immediately. We waited till 7:27pm and not one employee stopped by our table to take drink orders. As we got up and walked out the owner...says " have a good night folks". Whitneys just lost a customer.More

We do hate to lose a customer, but as you know we are a small restaurant, and once in a while you may wait 10-15 min due to circumstances beyond our control. We apologize and hope in the future you'll try us again.
