Brick oven is reasonably priced. Locals eat here. They have a huge fish and chip night on Fridays. Breakfast and lunch available as well. Friendly service, plenty of parking.

Stopped because of the number of cars parked outside. As others have pointed out the place looks a bit out of date and the staff was super friendly but looked as if they were not very experienced. But the food was excellent and prices are low. I had the clam chowder (great) and fish & chips. That turned out to... More

The salad is not cheap but it is HUGE. I wish they had a smaller option because of all the sodium in lunchmeat. The cucumbers are pickled and are amazing!

This place is unimpressive on the outside. When I looked at it and the name Brick Oven I figured it was the local watering hole with a good bar business that made pizza, subs, burgers, and such. That's not my kind of place which is why I have been driving past it during camping season over the last year. Recently... More

We were looking for a place to eat on the way back from Defender in Waterford Ct, and the GPS pulled up "Brick Oven". Immediately we assumed a restaurant with a brick oven... and made the mistake of not using the smart phone to check Trip Advisor first. This is a local diner. Not overly clean. It seems to be... Family members recommended we have dinner at Brick Oven and we're glad they did. It's clearly a local favorite and was very busy on the Friday night we visited. Our waiter was a pleasant young man and kept up with our needs without hovering. We had full meals that were good cooking and hearty. Everything was tasty and well plated.... More

Seated right away, service excellent, food very good and reasonably priced. Flower arrangements for sale was a nice touch.

Restaurant has pretty good seating capacity in its two dining rooms. Atmosphere is ok. Lots of locals and regulars eat there on weekends, so it can be pretty busy. The waiting staff is pretty much useless. Coffee refills are infrequent, and you can waste the whole day waiting for the check. Don't go there if you're in a rush. Worst... More

Ahh Ashaway. You sure have the market cornered on towny restaurants. Brick oven is okay. I love breakfast there, but dinner has always been an utter disappointment for me. The marinara tastes like it was directly from a can and the chicken breast was fake. It is cheap though! Very local towny feel to it and the waitresses are all... More

Family favorite Fridays during Lent. Decent portion of fish at a reasonable price. My wife always gets red clam chowder and clam cakes. Salad is good too. They don't always bring bread to the table which is disappointing, and prefer white vinegar over malt which isn't available, but not a big deal. Not shiny and new, but a hometown restaurant... More
