If you have never been a patron of the Tavern you are missing unique, tasty bar food, great service, and a wonderful selection of craft beers. It's the place to watch your favorite sports or listen to a wide range of interesting music. Outside dining is available.

We go here often. The food is always fresh and good. The beer selection is always interesting. I love craft beers, and they always stock interesting and diverse styles/brands. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Really great dive bar with an amazing beer line up. The food is not your typical pub far...it is much better. Tara the bartender with the purple hair is really great. Must stop if you are in Allentown.

We love this bar! They have a great selection of craft beers, probably the best in west allentown. They do not serve liquor though. So if you're looking for that kind of night, you'll want to go elsewhere. The food is pretty good too. Great wings, pizza, especially the mac daddy, sounds weird but tastes amazing! They have good sandwiches... More

Super busy little spot and now we know why. Our bartender Tara was great. Fantastic draft and extensive bottle selection. Loved we could take bottles as package. Had a pizza and really enjoyed the hoppin vibe. Will be back for sure!!

Tavern on Liberty is located in an Allentown neighborhood. It is true local with every beer offering you can imagine. The food is surprising excellent with homemade goodness pleasing to the palette. It is a bar which allows smoking inside. Even so, the wait staff and bartenders are friendly, knowledgable and heavily tattooed. The place is great fun so don't... More

This is a cute little bar close to Muhlenberg college. They have an excellent selection of microbrew beers. The food is mediocre and it is small considering the smoking people.

I'm almost hesitant to write this review because it is almost spring and if people know how amazing this place is, I won't get the coveted outside seating! It is a beer lovers dream, for those who want wine or liquor, you gotta go elsewhere! The food is by far some of the best eats in Lehigh Valley, it is... More

Huge beer selection. Good pub grub kicked up a notch. Downside- smoking is allowed. Afternoons provide a less busy, less smokey option.

I finally went to Liberty Street last week - for lunch, as it happened! I had been avoiding it for a long time because I had heard they allow smoking there. When we arrived, the place was mostly empty and the waitress, who was dressed as a cat (it was Halloween) said we could sit wherever we wanted, so we... More
