First time at Grumpy's and the food was great. The smoked wings were excellent and also the pulled pork was all great. Prices are decent and the service was good. Great place with relaxed atmosphere . Would return and try another item on the menu.
We go to Grumpy often, and have since they opened love the ribs, beans and slaw. The gumbo and jambalaya are outstanding, and do try the gator bites. This is a great local place
first time at Grumpys because I heard good reviews. Our dinner was nothing great. French dip was a lot of bread and over cooked meat and onions and dilute au jus. My husbands sandwich wasn't any better. Atmosphere is rundown and rustic. Whole place could use a facelift! Wasn't difficult to pick out Grumpy.
We traveled far to visit Grumpy's based on a co-workers suggestion. We were not disappointed. Food was perfectly seasoned and portions were more than generous. We sat at the bar and had a great time with Lisa. She made the best suggestions for our first time. Can't wait to digest, come back and sample more offerings!
Visited at the recommendation of a friend. We were apprehensive when we stepped up onto the run down porch. The inside is quaint and has lots of history in it's decor. Our waitress as really sweet and recommended many dishes to help with our dinner choices. Excellent barbecue and great portions.
When we first pulled up, we were not sure if the place would be appropriate for the kids. The outside looks a little run down, and it has a dive/biker bar look to it. But we decided to give it a shot anyway, since we were starving, and were glad we did. The staff was very friendly, and they do... More
The food is good, the service is good. It's a little dive bar-y atmosphere but sometimes that is just what you want. BBQ is usually a good choice for someone with Celiac disease and I will say I have never gotten sick from eating there. But we stopped on the front porch for a smoke before we left and were... More
This is really local color and your first impression is that the place is run down, but the ambiance is intriguing and even charming. Appetizers were adequate and included fired pickles, alligator, onion rings and green tomatoes. The Gumbo is spiced perfectly and the BBQ is the best around. The ribs are some of the best we've had in the... More
We went here on a Sat. night, and luckily we went about 5:30 PM. Shortly after, there was a line forming, as there always is. I had a pulled pork sandwich which came with fries. You add your own barbq sauce. My fellow-diner ordered the pulled pork platter. His serving looked a little sparse. I forget what side he got,... More
