Ate here cause it's about the only restaurant we seen on the road with all the antiques. Given that it is about the only one or two restaurants on this road, they are expensive. We ate the cheapest thing on the menu, which was the 8 oz. burger. It was $10.00 but came with fries. It was really good though.... More

We've been going to Stoudt's Black Angus for years, and have always enjoyed the German menu items. Besides their excellent beer selection, it's the one thing that set them apart. However, a new chef decided to change all that and eliminate the sausages and kraut and other items from the menu. The steaks are still delicious, if not pricey, and... More

Great place for a great steak dinner!!! The steaks were cooked to perfection, we lived the baked potatoes with the salted skins. For beer drinks this place is a gem, in house made beers, cold and delicious. Liked the interior of the place, interesting old prints from presidents. Worth a look at the Hugh solid wood chandelier hanging in one... More

Have always enjoyed a trip to Stoudt's Black Angus when we visit Adamstown, however, this trip went down hill. ALL of our favorites have been either altered or removed from the menu. As I've mentioned before, our most favorite menu item has always been the onion rings, they were fantastic and we ALWAYS encourage the wait staff to mention to... More

Exceptional service, Jackie was amazingly friendly, and new the menu well (both solid & liquid). Decor makes me think of a speakeasy. Food menu is better than what you'd expect at a brew pub. Beer menu is well huge and most excellent. The have a good understanding of gluten allergies, so it was easy to find options. You have to... More

I decided to check out this place for dinner tonight and thought I would see the usual restaurant interior décor. What a neat place...sort of an eclectic collection of interesting things. I have to go back...oh the food! Really some fine fare and the beer was yummy. I had the large schnitzel...comes with a salad. My schnitzel could have spent... More

First time visit to Stoudt's. It was a hot Saturday and my husband was in need of a cold beer. We took out our gift certificate and headed up 272. The food was very good and hubby enjoyed cold beer on tap. Good experience.

We stood out by the please wait sign for 15 to 20 minutes. No one came out even though staff kept walking by. I inquired at the bar and was told that I should not worry and they are busy. Finally someone came out but two groups left including us. I guess they don't care.

My girlfriend and I stopped by here on a recent trip nearby, based on the recommendation from a co-worker who had visited here for the beer but hadn't tried the food. We both enjoy beer and were looking for a decent place to eat, so we figured we'd give it a try. Well, we were not disappointed! We had to... More
