Description: LARKS HOME KITCHEN CUISINE celebrates Oregon - its farms, orchards,...
LARKS HOME KITCHEN CUISINE celebrates Oregon - its farms, orchards, creameries and wineries - offering dishes that excite and surprise with freshness and flavors. We are passionately committed to offering the most fresh & local ingredients possible. Larks celebrates Oregon's bounty by creating innovative cuisine from scratch, offering a unique dining experience. Our restaurant Executive chef, Damon Jones, is a master in showcasing opulent seasonal ingredients delivered daily from local farms, delighting visitors with the flavors of this amazing region. Larks' kitchen is full of many talented people including two Sous Chefs - Franco Console and Robert Wilson - Pastry Chef Terra Sharp, and many other 'food artists' whose creativity and attention to quality is expressed in every daily special. Dishes like steak, hearty soups, flavorful salads and grilled Northwest steelhead are the most popular. Other specialties include pork chops and apple and caramelized onion fondue. Ingredients like truffle oil, wild mushrooms, hazelnuts, pears, and marionberries layer in the Oregon flavor. Our Pastry Chef's creations depend on what is available that season and include fruit tarts, chocolate cake with housemade salted caramel ice cream, or cranberry-pumpkin bread pudding. Our beverage selection extends the theme of local and seasonal with a choice of herb-infused cocktails made with Oregon spirits, local wines, and beers. Larks' downtown Ashland, Oregon restaurant creates a connection between restaurant guests and our local farmers, ranchers, distillers, and winemakers. Come on in for a taste of local flavor.

A bit pricey, but great!

On our recent visit for dinner the service and cuisine were both great. This is one of the better restaurants in Ashland. We will be back.

Pleasing decor and a well-trained staff make Lark's one of my favorite restaurants in Ashland. I very much enjoyed my recent lunch of grilled shrimp and aioli, with micro greens, atop a mound of yummy smoked-onion polenta. Lark's is a great choice if you want to experience new flavors. I like the fresh, local menu choices and really appreciate the... More

Dinner on the last day of the year. The short story: astonishingly creative, tasty and served by very well mannered people. The appetizer was a Fijian tuna tartare, enhanced by curry oil and a dusting of truffles. Watercress as a rightful side. Perfection. I then ordered a braised beef that I would actually have called a stracotto al Barolo, since... More

The chef's special was Opa and Ono from Hawaii. My husband and I had one of each. Fabulous, delicious and beautifully presented.

The service was excellent. We had the fried chicken, which was delicious. Also had the half duck, which was tasty and nicely browned, but not crispy, so I couldn't eat the skin and probably saved some calories. The restaurant/hotel still had the festive Holiday decoration and we felt warm and welcome. All meals were quite pricey, luckily we had a... More

We had lunch at Larks and truly enjoyed all of it. Service was lovely, food was delicious, and the setting alone made it worth the visit. Reservation necessary. 4 ladies seeing plays

Every thing about this restaurant is superb. Even an afternoon tea outside in better weather than snowy winter days. I highly recommend it.

A wild-mushroom-chestnut-smoked leek tart with trufflle hollandaise sauce - what could be finer as a starter for our Thanksgiving dinner. The rest of the meal was as exquisite, with wine pairings, and fantastic desserts. However - the but. When we arrived for our 3:45 reservation, it could not be found. I, as the hostess for our group, had reserved months in advance,... More

Being an Ashland local, I can't say how many times I've been to Larks, but it's many, many. It's our go-to place to celebrate birthdays and other special occasions, and we always take our out of town guests there to enjoy an upscale dinner with excellent service. Not only is the ambiance serene and lovely, but the wait staff take... More

I stayed at the Ashland Springs Hotel for two nights recently, and enjoyed a fabulous dinner here on my first night with a friend who's local. We thoroughly enjoyed a fabulous dinner. The Alaskan halibut was to die for, and the beet salad was over the Moon delish. My friend loved her martini and I enjoyed a Sauvignon Blanc from... More
