This is a very nice place providing excellent service; competent and friendly (they took so good care of seven year old Ben). The ambience is lovely, the large bar a real asset. The food was quite good, the only minor point was clearly too much salt in one of the dishes (chicken fingers and chips on the kids menu). Overall,... More

For myself and many of my girlfriends, this is one of our favorite places to lunch. The atmosphere is quiet (so one can yak!) and the food outstanding. Everything from the salads (when we're are feeling virtuous) to the grilled cheese concoctions (when we are not!) is yummy. So grab and friend and lunch out!

Larks in Ashland and Medford stand out on the Rogue Valley as field to fork advocates. The cuisine is excellent and they are my first pick when entertaining suppliers and guests. The deserts and drinks are amazing and the service is fantastic.

Went to Ashland with two other couples primarily for the theater experience, but our dinner here was equally well-staged (and the plays were superb)! Love the board listing what is fresh and in-season locally, the wine list was full of good choices, and our food was excellent - as was the service. A lovely experience all around the table -... The location and ambiance make this a great pre-show restaurant for lunch or dinner. I've most enjoyed their southern fried chicken and Farmers plate (fruit, cheese and charcuterie). Service is friendly and attentive. Some of their chairs are tough on my back (I have issues) but they're happy enough to move you when other seats/tables are available.

Family dinner, service was excellent. But the real treat, the menu was amazing, and the food preparation and presentation fantastic. I tried the salad special, and the rabbit, and both were exceptional. My wife had the steak, and found it outstanding, and my daughter had the grilled cauliflower, which was also exceptional. Do try this one out. You will not... More

We are happy to be in Ashland overnight on our way to the San Juan Islands. Found a nice room at the Ashland Hills Hotel through TripAdvisor and also this restaurant. Was excited to see the town, this historic hotel, as well as having a delicious dinner at the hotel. Our server was very sweet and she and the wait... More

Let me start out by saying that I am a foodie from S.F. Enough said...so I am not terribly impressed by a lot. BUT OMG...this place...sooo good. All the reviews saying how great it is....all true. Look...go to this place...it appears a tad stuffy, but the wait staff, the kitchen...oh my lord...so good.

Perfect location in Ashland certainly helps, as did an exceptional waitress. The food was good and creative. The wine selection and suggestion was exceptional. They also did a fine job giving the space some personality.
