We spend a week in Ashland each year, and Amuse is one of our can't miss restaurants. The food is dependably outstanding. Service is pleasant and efficient. For a mixed carnivore/vegetarian couple such as myself and my husband, there is always good food for both of us. I love their gnocchi.

Amuse continues to deliver! Probably around ten times dining there. It's location makes it especially good if you are between plays, which we were on this visit. But the real reason to go is the excellent cuisine, attentive wait-staff and nice, if short, wine list. Ben was our waiter and he is also the sommelier We enjoyed another great meal.

The food is truly superb, the staff is well- trained, and the decor is simple bordering on elegant. We had halibut and gnocchi- both were extremely good. The beignets were very good. We went at 7:45, after the crowd going to the plays had left, and the restaurant was fairly quiet. The restaurant would be considered a definite winner in... More

My husband & I ate here prior to a show at the Shakespeare Festival. It was a good choice because they are used to patrons needing to get out on time, and abcause it is just a short walk to the theatre. The food was very good, although the menu was short. We sat outside, which was lovely. The service... More

Amuse has been the go-to place when we're in town or meeting friends. Excellent service, quiet dining, superb menu and always reliable. Our most recent dinner was so memorable--the corn soup, fresh seafood and elegant dessert.

Amuse is as good as it ever has been. We enjoy coming here nearly every year when we are in Ashland for the OSF.

We go to Amuse every year when we visit Ashland. They have wonderful entrees, including slow roasted salmon, game hen with truffle butter and Parisien gnocchi (vegetarian). The bread service is very good, with the best butter! We always try to save room for dessert, especially the semifreddo or the chocolate truffle cake with coffee ice cream. The sweetbreads are... We visited this well established restaurant with local friends and were impressed by the poised staff, and delicious selections there. The atmosphere is relaxed. The service timely. And the meals adjusted to your taste(I am a Vegan). At our table, we enjoyed an "out of this world" corn soup, Halibut, Chicken, and vegetarian dinners. Were Shakespeare around, me thinks he... Beautifully presented, small portions, flavorful. Served and to be ordered ala carte. The service was excellent and everyone always waited on us with a calm smile. The Beignets however were a disappointment- they were very dry and lacking any honey glaze.

We had our anniversary dinner here while on vacation. The restaurant is intimate & pleasant. My wife had game hen (which she found FB be very tough), & I had grilled pork cop, which was appropriately thick & well-seasoned. Side items were good & also well-seasoned. We also had white corn soup, which was delicious--light & a little sweet. Service... More
