The sheep sold a couple of months before we visited. This has been a traditional stop for us over years of Ashland stops. We enjoy the English pub menu and the atmosphere. The menu has little changed, but improved in taste. The leek and potato...More

The Black Sheep is a nice, low key place. The bar is adequate. The beer is good. The burgers were great. Unfortunately there was only one waiter working the entire place. He did a great job but he was over worked. They needed more help

It's so sad to know this place is closing. The food and drinks are creative and delicious with the best wait staff in the world, including Lee, who is amazing at remembering names and who also makes great original drinks.

The Black Sheep has been a tradition for us--along with many others. It will be closing at the end of July, I believe. Good, solid Brit fare.

My family and I went to this pub and had a fantastic time. Our server was so funny and we really enjoyed our time there. And a definite plus was that the bartenders/servers actually knew how to correctly pour a Guinness!!! The food was also...More
