Everything in the store has been screened to avoid GMOs. Lots of prepared foods in hot and cold take out section. Many prepared foods: spreads, veggies and fruits make great quick meals or picnics. Known for the place that brings people together. A must if you care about what you eat.

We got a picnic there, great service, though prices were a little higher than World Market down the road.

Every time we visit Ashland we shop and dine at their food coop. It's a great place to buy healthy organic groceries, produce and prepared foods. Their are some tables inside and outside where you can eat if you you can't wait. You can also get smoothies and other delicious healthy treats there.

Found lots of fresh produce and gluten-free choices to make our friends dinner. Reasonable prices and walking distance to downtown.

I ate three meals a day from the deli at the Co-op for over a week, and loved every bite. Great selection from the hot bar, excellent salads, some great tofu dishes (There is also plenty of meat, eggs and cheese dishes). Excellent juice and smoothies. The berry smoothie is soooo good. And I still dream about the paleo bowl.... More

We enjoy shopping at the coop. They have a great variety of organic and healthy food. The prices can be a little steep. They also have a take out counter where they make fresh food, and you can also fill a container with buffet style healthy dishes for a flat fee. The service was a little unfriendly. All the other... We had a lovey breakfast from their food bar. Sat outside on the patio. Beats Starbucks for a quick breakfast while road tripping.

This is a nifty organic food store that focuses on locally sourced products. Nice deli section with coffee bar. Great produce, cheeses, and freshly baked breads. Do not expect to find standard grocery items here -- this is not the place to find Pepsi or Cheerios, but they will offer gluten-free organic oaty O cereals and all-natural sodas.

I usually visit the co-op whenever I'm in Ashland. This trip I wanted some crusty bread and a couple pieces of their wild-caught halibut. I really like their fresh fish. Well, so does everybody else. The bread and fish were all gone. Too bad for me.

Love the produce and the organic bulk bins. Love that they serve noble coffee at a good price. Sometimes it is hard to find parking and sometimes it can be very crowded in their tiny isles. Still we hardly shop anywhere else.
