The lemon ricotta pancakes were so yummy. The fruit was so fresh and tasty. For the high food quality, the price was very low. Will come back for sure!

Based on prior reviews, we tried the Brick & Mortar. We weren't disappointed. In fact, it was a really great meal. We ordered brunch/breakfast food. It was served piping hot and the portions were huge. Everything tasted great. My veggie omelet was bursting with freshly...cooked vegetables--delicious. The service was fast, efficient and the waitstaff even offered us a few good tourist spots to see.More

We enjoyed a nice brunch here with friends. We found there to be a good variety for everyone to enjoy food and beverages. I thought the breakfast was really good and the omelettes were gigantic and very well done.

Hidden Gem to all but they who live in Albany Oregon We sat at the bar where our fantastic bartender/Manager worked her magic on a wide variety of specialty drinks. Disgusting meal. We ordered for delivery and our food arrived cold. That isn’t a big problem, because I know that delivery sometimes takes longer than anticipated. The appalling part of the meal was that our two hard boiled eggs arrived peeled and COVERED in lint...and hair. It looked like whoever had prepared the eggs dropped them on a shag carpet after peeling them. I called the manager of the cafe and she seemed indifferent and told us to request a refund for just the eggs on the delivery app. Seems like eggs covered in lint and hair indicates a real problem for the kitchen.More

Friends were in town in Portland, we live in Newport and wanted to meet halfway for lunch. Based on TA reviews I chose Brick and Mortar. We were seated with minutes in a completely full, very attractive dining room. The service was attentive, friendly, and...relatively quick given how busy it was. We ordered 4 different entrees, 3 breakfasts and 1 lunch. Everything was absolutely delicious, the portions were generous, and the presentation was inventive. Fried chicken eggs benedict, which I've never seen before, was great. Heuvos Ranchero, which our wait staff said was the best thing on the menu, was amazing. The hash browns were among the best I've ever had. The bill was $60, modest given the quality and portion size. We will return. You will not be disappointed.More

Delicious food! Brought a family of 8 and we were able to get seated quickly. Got a variety of dishes, and enjoyed all the different styles. Make sure you get your shredded potatoes BMC style!

in our first outing since COVID-19, we had a small family reunion of 4. Absolutely amazing (our first time there). We were greeted and seated promptly. The service was excellent. This is a terrific place with a good menu with a lots of variety. We went on a busy Friday so it was hard to have a normal level conversation but it was ok. Service is good.

Really enjoyed the food and friendly service. Little noisy, but could still have a conversation without shouting.

Anytime we travel this route we time it to have a meal here. It is excellent. Although the wait line may scare you it goes fast. It is so good. Way worth any wait.
