My cousin and I were looking for a good place to each lunch and this one was recommended by more than one person. It turned out to be a great choice, with delicious ribs and several kinds of sauces to choose from. Everything was good and we went away very full. Well, maybe THAT wasn't so good, lol. Nice artsy... The last time that I reviewed this was 2 years ago...since then they have moved into their new place and it is great. With the good weather the patio is open and is very nice to sit out on. The food continues to be fantastic and the beer selection is even better now. We eat there about once a week... More

Second visit last weekend. So far i have been very happy with the service and the food. The brisket sandwich is tasty as well as the pulled pork. The house bbq sauce is pretty sweet but i like that. you can use your choice of several other sauces if you like. Next time i think i will try the 7... More

This place has a great vibe and cool setting on the water by the bridges. We had lunch there. Fries were really good and so was my BBQ turkey melt. Big portion!

Briquettes is a wonderful restaurant with great views of the lift bridge and boats going up and down the river in the Ashtabula Harbor. The food is delicious and there is a nice variety of craft beers. The new patio is beautiful and is great for casual dining with friends. I highly recommend the ribs, the Reuben sandwich and the... We found Briquettes when it was in the little hole in the wall down the street with character, now they have the most beautiful spot in Harbor Town in what looks like an old firehouse overlooking the harbor. The atmosphere is fun, the view is great, and the bbq is best of all!

Definitely deserves the #1 spot on trip advisor. Cool location centered in the heart of Ashtabula. You can watch the bridge go up & down to let passing boat traffic pass. The area has been in a renovation since 2006 & it's turning out beautiful. The food here is amazing! A must stop when in the area. My husband had... More
