From the salad, roll, and entree, Papa Joe’s was excellent. We had great service and great food. I had the walleye special and my spouse had the chicken parm. We topped the night off with custom flavored cupcakes. We live in North Canton and it...was only a 25 minute drive north...great atmosphere.More

The food was exceptional, when we were finishing up they asked how the meal was. We told them it was GREAT and that it was our first time but wouldn't be our last. One of the family members (granddaughter of the founder) took us on...a tour of the place it is rather large, several dinning areas, a bar space and a wine/carryout with all the menu items prepared to go even passed by the kitchen which was busy and clean. This was truly a great dinning experience. TRY THE TUSCAN BREAD!!!More

My wife and I stopped for an earl dinner and saw many interesting items on the menu. In the end we opted for the prime rib that they offer only on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. I had the large and she had the small. She...ordered hers medium rare and I went with medium. The prime rib was very good. We both had a salad, salads were okay but nothing special. She had whipped potatoes that were probably powdered and I had their rice. The rice was very nice. We also shared a Bottle of Daou Vineyards (Paso Robles) Cabernet Sauvignon. An excellent wine for $37. Highly recommend the Daou. Our total bill was $101 before the tip. I think the atmosphere is nice and the menu would be worth revisiting.More

What can I say? I'm a nurse and although I did not have to work on Easter, I decided not to cook our normal family meal. Why bother? It's not like we could have everybody over to enjoy it. Instead, I ordered the prime rib...dinner from Papa Joe's. Holy cow! It was the most amazing food ever! The prime rib was cooked perfectly and you could cut it with a fork and I swear they must put some illegal substance in their mashed potatoes!! I could not stop eating them! The wonderful people at Papa Joe's managed to make a day that I was dreading into something special. I cannot thank them enough. They have a loyal customer for life!More

They were ready for us (6) as we arrived separately. We all selected different menu items and everyone loved their meal.

Awful experience for my husband’s birthday dinner. First, I wasn’t sure if my salad dressing was the correct dressing, so our waitress smelled it by putting her face pretty much in my salad & then proceeded to stick her finger in my dressing to taste...it in front of us. And then she had the audacity to ask if I wanted new dressing! Second, it took forever to get our salads & bread. Other tables seated after us were getting theirs before we were. Third, the waitress called my son “short man,” and “man of few words.” Not the nicest to call a 16-month old... And she put a dirty napkin on his head and “played” peek-a-boo with him. And to top off our evening, the waitress lost our credit card. We looked everywhere for it. “We” being the waitress, husband, and I. No manager ever came over to help us or ask us how they could resolve the situation. As we were finally leaving (without our card), a guest from another table stopped us & told us they had our credit card. Sure enough, our waitress put our card in their book. So our card was charged for our meal & their meal. The other table never found their credit card... The second meal was obviously reimbursed on our card, but nothing else was done. No discount, no coupons, no reimbursement for our hassle. The manager just said “Sorry, she’s not normally like this.” Meanwhile, we were late for the event we were going to after dinner. We will never eat here again. This was awful and so unprofessional.More

The food is always top-notch and the service exceptional. We always ask for Stacy and she is amazing. Make sure you get a salad with the white french, you will not be disappointed.

Excellent Italian food with huge portions. Very large restaurant, but depending on where you are seated, it can have a warm and cozy feel to it. I personally don't care for their tomato sauce (a little too sweet for my taste) but I am old...school -- if someone else went to the trouble to make it, you eat what is put in front of you.More
