We ate here for lunch, and were not disappointed. I had a delicious mahi wrap, my husband had a shrimp salad sandwich, and my son had fried shrimp. We were all extremely happy. The restaurant is light, airy, and "beachy" looking, and the staff was friendly. We would definitely eat there again!

We had visits with a party of 4 adults and again with 7 including 2 children. Both were great meals. Service was good even though they were busy and the kitchen got everything right.

Dined at the Channel Marker on a number of occasions over the years and agreed to meet out-of-state relatives for an early dinner there recently. The Channel Marker is a safe choice. Staff was helpful in suggesting a time to avoid summertime dinner crowds, and waitress was friendly and attentive. As usual, seafood was fresh, well-prepared and tasty. Prices were... More

I think you are paying for the view and the food. The food was good don't get me wrong but to be able to sit by Bogue Sound and watch the boats go by, awesome. I think the prices are in line with other restaurants. Do yourself a favor and sit on the deck.

The Channel Marker has so much seating, it's great for a large crew, and their place on the water is one of the best around. We hadn't been here for a few years, and we were very glad we returned. Service was great, and we all loved our dishes. The shrimp and grits was amazing! We will definitely be back.

When we finally got our food and drinks, it was very delicious. To start, the restaurant was not that busy. But after waiting fifteen minutes we had to ask another waitress to have our waitress bring our coke and coffee. My husband was almost three quarters done with his meal and our waitress still had not brought the rest of... More

We enjoyed lunch here and the plates were much more reasonable in price. We ate the same amount of food and felt the cooking was just as well if not better.

I used to eat at the Channel Marker several times a year, but have opted for less expensive places recently. I visited again and was reminded of just how good the experience is. I had a crab cake with Caesar salad. The crab cake was essentially all cake with no filler. Bang bang shrimp was great as an appetizer. I... More

Just finished a family dinner at the channel marker. Haven't been there since 1986. Appetizers of bang bang shrimp, seared tuna, calamari and mozzarella sticks were excellent. Shrimp and grits, seafood Mac and cheese and stuffed flounder were also outstanding. Excellent service as well. Highly recommended.
