This is a reasonable place to eat. It has decent prices and usually pretty packed. It is not open every day, be sure to check hours before you drive far To be honest if I had a choice I would prefer to eat in Asheboro at Magnolia 23 downtown. The food is like home cooking, decent prices and beyond tasty,... More

Delicious southern cooking for an awesome price. Great southern hospitality. Seat yourself when you enter. Unlimited hushpuppies are a definite perk - they are yummy!

This is a real good place to eat. The food is good, the service is real good, the only draw back is if you want to get what you want to eat, you need to get there earl. If you don't, you won't get it. They will run out.

This is a local favorite, as evident by the aged clientele at lunch time! The menu is full of favorites, all prepared in a home-style or country cooking atmosphere. The staff is a mixture of young and old and all very friendly. The place is often full and seating is prime. The home made desserts are wonderful and worth the... More

This restaurant has a varied menu but serves mainly southern type food. It is usually good but sometimes you cannot get wait staff to come back. Prices seem to keep going up but are still not a bad deal.

We used to visit here at least once a week, many times 3 or more. The last time or two we've been there it is not good like it used to be. My old favorite was the country style steak, but now it's like rubber with salt. Even the old stand by veggies are really lacking in flavor. Old Dixielll... More

We have the impression that this place does not like "outsiders". We stopped here while traveling home to South Carolina. We were not greeted when we walked in, were not checked on after food served and kept waiting at register to pay. The food was solid and served quickly. Prices are fair, not high at all. Stop if you are... More

Great place to eat a hot lunch. They serve BQ plates and sandwiches but you can also get a good vegetable plate.

The first time I came to this restaurant, we left because there were no seats available and there is not a lot of room to wait for a table. The next time we went, we did get seated. The food was ok. The waitress had too many tables to serve and we were left needing refills all the time.

Dixie lll is one of my usual stops during the week for dinner. Most of the time the food is tolerable due to living in a small city. Tonight my food could not even pass as edible. My potatoes tasted as if they were old, vegetables drenched in grease and my chicken was so rubbery. I spent $13.00 and I... More
