We eat here frequently, the staff is friendly, the food is great, fresh seafood and fresh veggies. Try their tomato salad! They excel at fried seafood, their shrimp platter is the best I've had!

A great little independent place with fantastic food! Fresh, local, lightly battered seafood too, with the best soft shell crabs we've ever eaten. We will go back! Not a fancy place, thank goodness, but really good!

We took the Minnesott Beach ferry to Arapahoe and stopped here for lunch. We loved the lump crab meat appetizer (sautéed in butter). I had the Carolina bbq plate with cucumber salad and tomato slices and my husband had local shrimp, a grilled sweet potato...More

I can recommend the fried flounder and soft shell crabs. The fried okra was great but forget the French fries. Our waitress was very inattentive and could not have been more unpleasant when I told her she got my order wrong. There is not much...More

Crab soup was very good. Shrimp sandwich on standard burger bun was cooked perfectly and the slaw made it all work. Soft shell crab sandwich was excellent and also served on a no-frills bun. Staff was attentive and the place was clean!!!

Not a fancy place but if you love soft shell crabs this place has large ones, well cooked and the vegatables are seasonal and very fresh. We also tried the local shrimp plate and were pleased that the batter was very light so that you...More

We are locals that eat at Gary's several times a year, mostly during Summer months. Their menu is pretty diverse with a focus on seafood. If you like soft crabs, in 20+ years we have never had a bad one - no "paper shells" or...More

This sad little place was nearly empty when we ate there, and we could see why. Limited selection of mostly fried (and presumably frozen, not fresh) seafood.

Went here last year with my brother and just couldn't believe the meal way off the beaten path. Just decided my wife should try it and drove out into nowhere. When we got there she asked why we drove way out there? Once she had...More
