Recently met business associates at Peak City for a quick luncheon meeting. Great food, excellent service, and prices to keep the Finance Dept happy with the expense statement.

I recently visited Peak City with my girlfriends. The 5 of us were seated in a booth. One has a three month old and staff told her she couldn't leave the stroller beside the table, which I understand for safety. However, it would have been nice to be moved to a table where we could comfortably seat instead of squeezing... More

Thanks for your comments and I am sorry that the seating arrangements were not the best. Candidly, we don't have a lot of regular tables for large groups in the parts of the restaurant that were opened (private dining rooms were either in use or closed off, I am guessing). The booths are designed for 6 people. I don't know... More

Cute downtown restaurant. Pricey $10 for a glass of sangria. Great atmosphere. Jazz night on Tuesday and enjoyed the music. Food was delicious but more on the pricey side. Portions are good not over sized. The chocolate cake dessert is divine!

Thanks for coming in on Tuesday night...and enjoying our Couple's Menu! I am glad that you enjoyed the food. I know that you felt that items were somewhat "pricey"...but I hope you were shown our Couple's Menu-- a 4 course dinner, with the appetizer and dessert being shared, for TWO for $49.95. And that though the sangria may have been... More

Been here a few times and have had good experiences. Love the atmosphere and the menu option here. My review is specifically for the lobster grill cheese. The sourdough bread was delicious! The lobster, though not limited was flavorless (I had to add a pinch of salt and black pepper); some pieces were very chewy, others dry and grainy? Not... More

Thanks for your comments. I was just reviewing with the chef, and this is what I am told. First, the "mayo" probably was the brie cheese, as it is a "spreadable" brie cheese. That may compromise the brie flavor, in my opinion. As to the chewiness and graininess of the lobster, I am not sure about that. I shared with... More

Peak City always delivers great food & service with unique twists to make its food creative & flavorful! Whether it's lunch or dinner you can expect a great meal from the appetizer (fabulous shrimp hush puppies) to entree (prime rib) to any fabulous salad or dessert! Share an appetizer, soup or salad each and an entree each and share a dessert. We had the ceviche as an appetizer and both had salad, nice and fresh. One had a pasta dish and the... More

Good burgers. Right downtown Apex. Can be a little loud when crowded, but the staff and service is very good.

Restaurant was recommended by friends. Atmosphere reminded us of a NY City restaurant. A little loud. Waiter was very professional and not overly attentive. My wife's fish entree was very tasty. My filet mignon was not very tasty and bland. Prices are not cheap so I expected better from them on the steak. I did receive a survey email from... More

Thanks for coming in and I am sorry that your steak was not to your satisfaction! I can only guess that somehow your filet was under seasoned, or somehow missed being seasoned at all. It is not a common complaint! Please come back in and let us show you how we typically cook a filet! Hopefully you have received the... More

We really enjoyed the shrimp po boy and will be back soon. Exceptional wait staff, very friendly. We have gone for dinner but enjoy the outside patio at lunch and the salad menu for a lighter meal.
