Visited two times, and each time was disappointed in service. I go after the lunch rush, so there is no excuse for sitting for 1/2 hour with an empty glass. The prices are high for the amount of food served. I tried the bourbon chicken salad sandwich, very tasty until you hit a piece of bone. Notified the server, and... More

I am sorry that our service level disappointed you. There should have been a bottle of water (complimentary) on your table to refill your glass if it was empty. As to the chicken salad, it is made fresh daily and is pulled from whole chickens. Sometimes, unfortunately, bones do get missed and make their way into the chicken salad. I... More

The wife and son liked it but I was very disappointed. Ive had the Lamb Chops before but the must have changed it or something because the pistachio crust is now held on the chops with a layer of mustard. Was horrible and the chef way over cooked it to well done from an order of medium rare. Was very... More

Tom--I'm extremely sorry that we disappointed you with the lamb chops! I am also disappointed that you didn't bring it to the attention of your server or the manager so that we could fix it right then. I know that takes a while, sometimes, to have something recooked, but we would have done it as quickly as possible to make... More

A great little find in downtown Apex. We have been there for both dinner and lunch and haven't been disappointed yet. They always have fresh new menu with new creations to try. So far there "wreck fish" dinner has been my favorite of all-time. We look forward to returning again soon...

Thank you for trying us out! The wreck fish is a beautiful eating fish, and our chef prepares it beautifully. We try and get that when it is available, but it is an "incidental" catch, from what I understand. Glad you have tried our other dishes and I hope you enjoy those as much. Thanks for dining with us! It... More

The tuna appetizer was seared and seasoned to perfection, the seaweed salad that accompanied it was superb.I didn't think I would like the salad, but it came with the tuna. It should be a full item on the menu. A must try appetizer, even if you're anti-sushi. I could have had a second order of the entrée of scallops, if... More

Thanks for your kind and generous words! I will share these with the staff. We are proud of the quality of the tuna we serve in the appetizer, and I agree with you that the seaweed salad is a marvelous addition to the sashimi tuna. I hope you liked the beer selection as well! Thanks again for coming in and... More

The owner put together another outstanding winemaker dinner on short notice. This time with the owner of Clouds Rest Vinyards in Sonoma, California. 4 courses paired with 4 Clouds Rest varietals.. Scallop Cerviche with Forbidden Sauvignon Blanc, Grilled Peach Salad with Allure Reserve Chardonnay, Marinated Chateaubriand with Egoiste Cabernet Sauvignon and Artisanal cheeses, Prosciutto & Dates with Femme Fatale Estate... Levon- Thanks for joining us again at our wine dinners. Frankly, the shared experience of this wine dinner, with the owner and the winemaker, made it an especially interesting and enjoyable dinner. And of course, the pairings were fantastic (by the winemaker). A fantastic night for all, and we appreciate that you were a part of it. Thank you! More

We were delighted at this find. Atmosphere is great and even though it is a large place and lots of tables, it was easy to carry on a conversation. Service was great and the food was delicious. It was around lunch time, but we did not feel rushed and had plenty of time to choose what we wanted and to... More

A bunch of us ate here for lunch. The waiter seemed to rush us to order but we were still deciding. I'm not sure what the rush was as the place wasn't busy. Our drinks were refilled just once. We all wanted more to drink as it was hot outside but the waiter had just disappeared after checks were brought.... More
