Haven't been here in years and tonight showed they still got it. Great fresh NY pizza. We ordered a large with alot of toppings at $20 that's a deal. The staff were friendly and even gave me a free drink for the drive back. Great...job, guys!More
Following up to a former review...
This is indeed very good pizza though a bit stingy with toppings. It has those bubbles in the crust that my family and I go for. We've had a good many pizzas from here. One time I ventured out...and tried the pasta. Whoa! Nowhere near el dente but overcooked with a blah sauce. The pasta is as bad as the pizza is good.More
Michaelangelo's Pizza is a local spot. It is the plainest of little cafes. There are a few tables and chairs if you choose to eat there. As basic as it gets. The menu is more than basic. It offers pasta dishes and sandwiches, salad, cannolis...that look to be handmade, and lunch specials . The foot traffic coming for takeout food is pretty steady. With pizza, the crust is where it starts, and should be light and tasty, not heavy/dense. Michaelangelo's has distinctly great crust. You can choose your own ingredients from a generous list or go with one of their specialties. Their pizza is from an Italian family recipe. You can taste the difference in the results. My wait has never been long, considering the time it takes to make the pizza, and pull it freshly baked from the oven.More
The pizza was awesome, some of the best I’ve had in quite some time. Worth going to. My husband had a steak and cheese sandwich and he said it was quite good. He was asked what he wanted on his sandwich and he chose mushrooms...and onions.More
My co-worker and I just felt like having some pizza. We searched and came across Michelangelos Pizza and made a run for it.. Called in the order while leaving the office and was met by friendly staff and great service. The pizza was very good...and filling. We had to make ourselves stop from over eating because it was soooo good!More
Good service is hard to come by - tonight I dropped by Michaelangelo's to pick up our 2 large pies, and noticed how busy the place was... even though they were busy, the staff was very friendly and helpful.. And the food was ready on...time! A good buy for the family - 2 large pies, 2 toppings for under 20 bucks...More
When I go to the Michelangelo's Pizza in Apex there is a warm friendly feeling. The food is very fresh and has a fantastic flavor and the staff is friendly. They are a family owned business and I have been a customer in the Apex...store for 12 years. I originally started eating there pizza out of the Cary store and then I moved to Apex. It has a convenient location right on 64 and Lake Pine and there prices are unbeatable for the food you receive. If you haven't tried there food you do not know what you are missing.More
