This was my first visit to Salem Street and was surprised at the number of restaurants on both sides of the street. We decided to try SSP because of the number of patrons that were there and now we know why. The food is great. I had the Patty melt on rye w/ skin on fries. It was wonderful. So... More

Had lunch here while in town and was pleasantly surprised. The service was nice and fast. Wanted to try something different so went with the "my wife said it would never sell" burger. I have to admit i did like it. I would recommend to anyone and would go back if ever in Apex again.

This is a great place to come for burgers. They have a number of unique and delicious combinations and their hand cut fries are great. The tables are chalk boards so you can entertain yourself while you are waiting for your food. I'm not a beer drinker so I can't comment on their selection, but they do have some entertaining... Met some friends for wings and beer. The beer list was great, and they have a new beer made by a local brewery and only sold at the Pub and Brewery. It was pretty good! The service was very good and it was a busy night. The wings, fries and wraps were great and we enjoyed our visit.

We visit the pub almost weekly. The staff, management and food are all excellent. Reasonably priced menu and a gracious serving. Our only problem is trying to figure out what to order, it's all delicious! They are known Best for their burgers and wings, both are excellent. I love their salads which are cut up daily, not bagged lettuce. My... More

We love this place. In my opinion it is the best place in downtown Apex. The patty melt is awesome. Have had other dishes and I have been pleased with all of them. Family run. The service and atmosphere are good. It does get crowded on nights and weekends so we try to go early. Nice sports bar tv coverage.... More

For food alone I would give 3 stars at best, my kids love it but it is kind of a greasy griddle style burger joint. The crowd and the neighborly welcoming feel are not to be missed though. Would definitely go again.
