Me and my friends were super excited when I found this newly open Asian food restaurant in Bodrum. The staffs were friendly(I’m not saying efficient )it’s almost like American style,a lady (supposed to be the boss) came and greeted us. JUST THE FOOD WAS NOT...AS WE EXPECTED. First, the food came super slow. (We were the second table when we got there and the first table was about to finish) We waited really near 30 mins for the first dish—toro maki to come, not to mention the size of fish was nothing like the menu. The seaweed was soft and sticky,the fish was not that fresh either. We ordered 7 dishes , and for each of dish we waited 20-30 mins.It came one by one so the one got the meal had to eat with guilt cuz the rest would just stare with hunger. We ordered 2 Pho Bo, but the staff only wrote one down, after we reminded them we had another one,the staff still forgot till the lady figured out and apologized...we literally waited another 40 mins for the second bowl. Not to mention the water and drinks came literally 30-40 mins after we sit down. (We reminded them in between) Now we talk about the taste. Strongly recommend Pho Bo. I literally think it was the only nice dish among our orders. Pho Bo’s broth and meat were very tasty and I really enjoyed it. The portion was pretty big for one person but unfortunately the green bean sprouts came along with pho were nothing fresh. They were yellowish,greyish and sticky. Anyone who is familiar with this plant would understand right away! We didn’t touch it at all yet so lazy to complain cuz we were really starving. Moreover, the Thai soup noodle’s beef was chewy and the noodle was overcooked that while taking it from the bowl, it just cut into several pieces since it’s too soft. The green curry the same, beef was really chewy. The taste was over-spiced, I don’t know how to describe ,am just disappointed :( We live in Istanbul where there’re very few “authentic” asian restaurants. Me and my girl friend are both Asia grown Asian , we crave nice asian food literally EVERYDAY. So when I found this restaurant , as so many compliments and nice photos on IG and here ,our expectation went a bit too high I guess. I think I will still go again just for the pho bo but not with a super empty stomach.More

Visited today with my partner, friend and boyfriend after reading many positive reviews and doing my research I can honestly say we was not disappointed. The food was out of this world, I felt like I was eating in someone's home and food was cooked...with love. The pictures dont do it justice!! The pho was by far the best I've eaten ever and trust me I've had a lot aha. The owner/chef and waiters was so truly kind and couldn't do enough to help!! The place is imbued with the bubbling passion and dedication of Victoria, the Vietnamese-origin American owner, and her husband Yunus. Ginza Ginza has...become very popular amongst expats and Turks, yet they gave time to chat and explain the Vietnanese / mixed Asian menu. I plumped for the Pho, having become a devotee of the dish over many visits to Vietnam. It arrived perfectly presented, a vast bowl of delicious broth temptingly perfumed, its delicate flavours crowned with large succulent pieces of meat on the bone and a side dish of additional items to throw into the pot, as one should. Perfection! My friend chose the green curry; being a vegetarian he asked if the kitchen could replace the chicken with tofu, which they readily agreed to. The creamy curry had precisely the right texture, spiciness and (like all the dishes, one imagines from Victoria's explanations of her unrelenting quests for the right ingredients, including growing some of their own as well as enlisting the help of Bodrum's thriving Asian community), that authentically Asian - especially Vietnamese - blend of lavours that magically combine great subtlety, delicacy and strength. Turkish cuisine is fabulous, yet one can tire of standard local fare. Head for Ginza Ginza!More
