Remarkable authenticity

Remarkable authenticity in a city with myriad options. It sits in an alley flanked by other restaurants; the tree-hung lights and courtyard are delightfully inviting. They have a respectable selection of freshly caught fish. In addition to the standards of sea bass, mullet, large prawns, dory and sole, there was a lovely scorpionfish- which we picked. Tender, moist calf’s tongue and a wood-fired aubergine casserole set the stage for an exceptional dinner. From the decent wine list we selected a Sarafin Cabernet Sauvignon from Thrace that pairs beautifully with boldly flavoured seafood. The finely grilled octopus did not disappoint; the scorpionfish, richer in taste than sea bass and firmer than cod, was to be remembered. Our dinner was perfectly concluded by excellent Turkish coffee and a caramelized tahini dessert. We shall return to this lovely family and their establishment.

Delicious dinner in Bodrum!

Delicious dinner in Bodrum! Using the Google map, we were able to find the Dukkan restaurant quite easily. On the threshold of the restaurant, we were met by the hospitable hosts, who, despite the full reservation of tables, kindly offered us a table for two in a quiet courtyard. For dinner, we planned to eat only seafood, so our choice was made on a honeycomb of shrimp, baby squid and octopus on the grill, and lamb fried in oil. They washed down all these delicacies with half a liter of homemade white wine (and I decided on a glass of red). There was no limit to the bliss of the devoured meal! We ate and did not believe that we in Turkey could find such a quality of cooking fish and seafood. Before that, we tried fish and octopus three times in Istanbul and Bodrum, but, alas... Huge respect and gratitude to the owners of the wonderful restaurant Dukkan for the ability to cook delicious and correctly, as well as for the cordiality and hospitality! We definitely recommend this place to visit!

Best Aegean Cousine and Meze

Went to dinner with my girlfriend, we have greeted by lovely couple who's running the place Tayfun and Gül. Amazing, tasty and fresh ingredients for mezzes, fresh and daily, grilled shrimp is a must try. Lovely atmosphere and reasonable prices for this quality. Running 12 months a year feel free to visit at any time.

Delicacy is their name!

It’s a small, cozy place with smiling team and amazingly delicious food. We invited our family members for a dinner. It couldn’t be any better! Everybody enjoyed their mezes and the ambiance. They welcomed us with smiling faces and we left with smiling faces. You should definitely try fried zucchini, grilled mushroom and meze with cheese from Crete. And don’t forget to chat with the team to warm your heart.

Best seafood restaurant in Bodrum!

Our family's favorite restaurant in town! We've been here for more than 10 times in a month. I've never tasted such a tasty octopus (which is first boiled for a couple of hours and just then grilled), calamari, shrimps and even green salad is made perfectly! Wine selection is not big, but also very good. Highly recommended place! And you should also try their dessert with cream and mandarin.

The hidden gem of Bodrum !

One of the best adresses in Bodrum ! The cosy restaurant makes you feel straight at home. The menu is full of delicious specialties and fresh mezze. The seafood was without a doubt the highlight of our meal, especially the octopus :) what makes this place great is also that the prices are very reasonable for the quality of food you get !

We had a fantastic dinner, definitely 5 stars. Friendly service, great ambiance, and fresh delicious food to match. We ordered grilled baby calamari, grilled octopus, Greek salad, and saganaki cheese . We had local white wine that hit the spot. For the quality of the fresh seafood and the bustling street vibes, it was reasonably priced. A must if you visit. You will not be disappointed I have FOMO for not ordering the sea urchin

Pleasant Experience

We saw this restaurant in trip advisor and the reviews are right. I’m very glad we went to try it,the service and the people are amazingly friendly, the food was phenomenal & the price is very reasonable. We were able tp try lots of local dishes as well and we truly enjoyed our experience. A must visit seafood restaurant.

Just WONDERFUL!!

This place is a real gem and the food and service is exquisite , from the grilled calamari to king prawns and the mushrooms which are cooked and seasoned to perfection, the waiter there each time was so attentive and always sat me down at a table in the beautiful street with a wonderful atmosphere and vibe, even if they where fully booked. This restaurant and the service is a main reason i am returning in June 2024. Thanks again and see soon. All the best..

Excellent seafood and outstanding appetizers

The seafood here is amazingly tasty, well seasoned, and is served hot and fresh. I don't think you can ask for more. The setting is casual but clean and nice. The absolute star of the show is the Turkish meze. These cold vegetarian appetizers will steal your heart. My family seeks out great food in locally owned restaurants around the world and this is definitely going to be in our top 10 of all time

Quaint and incredibly tasty

This gem of a place was one of the best finds in Bodrum for dinner. The mezes were incredibly tasty, especially the stuffed zucchini flowers, fried calamari, and the grilled artichokes. Our main meal was a whole kaya levrek (sea bass) prepared perfectly. It’s a lot more quaint than some other fancy places in Bodrum, and the food, the service and the prices are much better. The owner Gül Hanım is a sweet hostess working the tables along the employees. A must-go place in downtown Bodrum.

Amazing food and an authentic ambiance

If you come to Bodrum you must go and eat at Dukkan! We ordered some mezze’s and seafood (grilled octopus and grilled calamari) and it was the best I’ve ever tasted! Furthermore, the staff was incredibly friendly and the food was served quickly. The quality-price was more than okay and much better than some overrated well-known places. Truly recommend visiting Dukkan, you won’t regret it!

Though all places in that small alley are great, this one was exceptional. Service and food wise. Especially the maribated seabass (basically ceviche) and the octopus were great Owner and waiters were very attentive and can also communicate in English. Was there 2 nights in a roe and will sure come back next time

A Delicious Departure from the Main Stream

Dukkan was highly recommended by the owner of the apartment I was renting. He was right. The restaurant was busy for a Monday night but I had stopped by earlier and reserved a table. It was ready for me when I arrived. Tayfun and his team took care of me well. The pickled sea bass took pickled herring to a higher level, delicate and tasty. The butter and garlic shimp was gently cooked and came to the table sizzling hot and spicy. The grilled octopus was the best I have had in years, tender but definitely not wimpy. I'm going back! The restaurant is on a little side street shared with another restaurant and pedestrians but I never felt crowded eating outside. By the way, the restaurant across the alley is reported to be as good but I don't need to experiment when I have a winner like Dukkan.
