Alone by the barbecue or in a large group, I highly recommend this restaurant. The kebab is perfect. The atmosphere is vey traditional with locals enjoying food and raki.

Good atmosphere and ok food. The service was great. Having a huge BBQ in the middle of the restaurant is very interesting. I loved the fact that the person who was bbqing interacts with the customers. The price is a little higher than other places.

it has been always my favorite for kebab. Good food and meze. However, I realized lately their waiters got very annoying. They talk to you very informal and give you sarcastic answers. Management needs to be careful.

Cankaya location-- nice, spacious, clean restaurant. Excellent service, though the waiters didn't speak English. Phenomenal food...try the humos, it's the best I have had in Turkey. Great selection of food, to include kebobs, salads, and variety or mixed grills. The bathroom/WC is on the second...floor only, so if you can't climb stairs this is not the place for you. Excellent prices for the amount of food you get. Great location for large groups of people.More

Try to eat as much as you can when you get there. This place is amazing. Also try to reserve a seat just near the bbq. You should order your shishs via Aydin usta.

The food served is truly excellent value for money. Fantastic selection of Kebap food. Service was quick and polite. Restaurant is clean and great atmosphere. Of note - try one of their numerous salads. Very fresh and nice accompaniment to the meat dishes.

Very nice local kebap type food. Taken there by a business contact and it was simple very good food in a good atmosphere with good service (although this was clearly helped by my contacts ability to speak Turkish) Prices were very reasonable (lot cheaper than...the Swissotel where we were stay) and as it is only about 5 mins walk away well worth the leg stretchMore

Been there for the 2nd time now. Make sure you try Ezme and Shish Kofte as starters. Besides that they have a 'mixed grill' plate that we had as main course. You cannot leave this restaurant without having eaten too much.

I was visiting on business in Ankara an a Turkish associate took me to Adana Sofrası based on my request to have a good, spicy Adana kebab. I went to the Çankaya location on the southern edge of the city (Çankaya, 713. Sok. 6, Ankara)...rather than the one listed here and on the restaurant's Web site (Necatibey Caddesi  No:30, Kızılay - Ankara.) The latter is much closer to the center of the city, within walking distance of the Sıhhiye‎ Metro stop (~ one-half kilometre.) The location I went to in Çankaya is much, much further out in a residential neighborhood on the southern ridge. No matter which one you go to, the food will probably be as excellent as what I enjoyed. Order the Adana kebab, a side plate of yoghurt, a big Çoban salatası (Shepherd's salad) and some rakı to drink and you're set. The center of the restaurant features a circular kitchen and as you eat you can watch the chefs in action on the barbecue with a giant copper hood funneling away the steam and smoke. You can even dine around the counter at the edge of the "kitchen" for an especially memorable experience. We had a very satisfying dinner; this place is obviously popular with local families and individuals.More
