Dishonest owner. Just interested in money from tourists rather than long term customers. Got charged huge amount for a salad Very small portions and got charged huge amount. Pretty much a tourist trap. Do yourself a favour and go somewhere.

This place is very expensive, in fact the most expensive so far in our 1 week trip around turkey, the dishes are quite small however they were fresh and tasty, they charge for bread which I've never seen before and after saying we don't want any drinks they started pouring water and charged for it too. None of the waiters... More

Our first dinner in Zenger Pasa Konagi was on a Saturday night, and the atmosphere was very joyful with musicians, people singing, etc. Food is good, especially the meze and the lamb dishes. The ground floor of the restaurant looks more like an antique shop and you have to go upstairs to find the dining room. Part of the house... More

We stopped by with a large group for a summer lunch and were treated very well. The selection of appetizers was extensive, and they were all delicious. We then ordered several spinach gozleme and shared them. The view from the terrace was marvelous and the service was very attentive.

Many people suggested this restaurant however it does not worth to spend a lot of money and time. Nothing was special. Dishes were poor and small. We took our guest to there and felt embrassed. It would be better to go an ordinary one..

The place is located inside the Citadel village. You just have to look for a signage to locate it well. You can't say that it's a restaurant as you enter the ground floor. It's more of a small museum of old Turkish artifacts. When you go up to the stairs, which is actually somehow hidden though, and go to the... More

Having read a recommendation about this restaurant on a Lonely Planet website, and considering it was in the vicinity of the Museum of Anatolian Civilisations which was my primary goal, I decided to have an evening meal at Zenger. Right in the middle of what you called the 'old town', near the citadel, it offers a very traditional, if not... More

Nice old wooden ottoman house, in the old city of Ankara. Nice traditional atmosphere, the clientele seems all local. Service is good. It is a pity that ghe food is soewhat average.

We ate an early dinner here and liked the food and the view over Ankara at sunset from our corner table. The restaurant is located in the Citadel on the third floor of what appears to be a centuries-old building. It is necessary to walk up three flights of old, narrow stairs to reach the rustic dining room, which would... More
