This is not a fancy restaurant, meaning not one of the beloved "fish restaurants" Turks love to spend their money at. But the food is delicious, the free starters are excellent and lavish, and the general atmosphere is elegant and charming and the service lovely....Always full, but you will nonetheless probably be able to walk in off the street. Try the walnut salad!More
If you're new in Ankara and want an introduction to Turkish cuisine, Masabasi is the perfect choice!
The food is DELICIOUS, and they also have menus in English. Furthermore, there is a picture of every dish, so you know what you're getting.
The staff is...super friendly, the prices cheap and the ambient simply perfect.
You receive the classic Turkish tea at the end of your meal. I would also recommend ordering Turkish coffee.
I did not like the deserts that much. Not to say they were bad, it's just that the main courses are the real stars here. :)More
We were at this restaurant for dinner, this place is usually full of people especially locals and this guaranties the quality of the food.
We ordered two kinds of kebabs ( I think Adana and shish kebab !!! ) , it was awesome.
And also...beside the main dishes they offered some other things that we could not find out what the names were, but they were also fascinating and awesome.More
It was an amazing place to eat. It also offered English menu which is like a gem in Ankara.
When you order your food, free appetizers are served: smoked eggplant, Turkish labneh, Turkish tabula salad and one more thing ( I don’t know its name)....Staff are so fast in setting the tables, serving appetizers and meals and cleaning tables from dirty plates. They are also very friendly.
We really enjoyed it and would try it again later.More
This restaurant has a 5/5 rate . It’s absolutely delicious , the flavors of the dishes are on point from their kebab, lambs, rice, and bakleva. Also , their incredible coffee. A must try !
The service was great.
Complementary appetizers are delicious which are house salad, turkish tabouleh, smoked eggplant salad, turkish labneh made with yogurt and sort of turkish salsa made with paralel, green onions, tomatoes and cucumbers. After your meal they offer you free turkish coffee or turkish tea.
I ordered Adana kebabı which is a long, hand-minced meat kebab mounted on a wide...iron skewer and grilled on an open mangal filled with burning charcoal.Service is very fast. Restaurant is very clean. My bill was 38 Turkish Liras which is about $7 usd.More
