This is my go to place for great Spanish food in Manila. Old man Alba passed away recently, but his spirit lives on in the excellent service and food at his restaurant. The lachon is excellent, but having it off the buffet, I ask the waiter to get me a fresh plate from the kitchen, it's freasher and they "crisp"... More

Top of mind for authentic Spanish cuisine can only mean one name - Alba. Yes, this resto obviously needs a little upgrading in terms of interior design, plus the parking at the frontage could use a more inviting look, it's the taste of the food and the authenticity that you should really appreciate :) It's historical significance is also something... I have beeen here twice. Food and service was excellent both times. Food is genuine Spanish-I live in Las Palmas Spain. Ordered from the menu, did not try the buffet.

Reasonably priced selection of Spanish dishes usually attracts the customers of this long-standing restaurant. When craving for some paella, cochinillo, lengua, tapas and canonigo, this place is always a consideration!

their buffet is a bit pricey but their Spanish paella makes it worth it! They have excellent chorizo too

I last ate in this restaurant 8 years ago and I had a very wonderful time. I am happy to note that the food is just as delicious as it was back then. I loved the paella,Callos, Cochinillo, and other Spanish dishes.

For the 800++ per person they charge at the buffet it wasn't worth it. Few dishes only and the food was cold.

I don't know why I haven't tried this place before. My first time was just a few weeks ago, and we had their lunch buffet. Really good food. Each dish tasted like it was prepared properly unlike some buffet restaurants where you know they prioritize quantity over quality. The range is good, not too much but not too little.

This was the first time we tried this restaurant. I was attracted with the positive reviews and suggested we celebrate my brother's birthday here. It was Saturday dinner and the place was almost fully reserved except for a table of 4. There's 6 of us but anyway we decided to take the table. The food was good! Though the selection... More
