Via Mare has always been a favorite restaurant serving Filipino cuisine. The new and bigger branch along Timog Avenue in Quezon City however disappointed us. Some of the usual fare ( squid, beef kaldereta, bangus, puto bumbong, oysters) were fine but the other Pinoy favorites here (bibingka, palitaw, mango with sticky rice) was not the usual fare that we enjoy... I always go to Via Mare when I want to eat Dinuguan with puto or Goto. Sometimes, when our family craves for local food like guinataan, bribingka or palitaw and Pancit Luglog, we always go to Via Mare. Other people enjoy the oysters too but I never tried it yet. All I can say is we love to eat in... More

We had to try their branch in Panay Ave QC. Ordered the Crispy pata. There was nobody else dining at that time So we waited for 10 to 15 mins and when our order finally came out, we found out that only the top half was served, the other half under was missing, to top it if it was not... More

This place is surprisingly full during a Saturday afternoon at 3-4 PM with people having merienda. Bibingka was good. The other food like palitaw, mais con hielo tasted like you could have them elsewhere. Puto bumbong was a bit sour - panis. Ambiance is nice.

Filipino food with class, ordinary dishes reinvented. Would return for the pako salad, tuyo rice and the shooters dessert. Love the dalandan juice!

Filipino food served in this restaurant are sumptuous and can be recommended. I love the dessert sampler where you can try different kinds of Filipino sweets. The place is peaceful and not crowded. It can be for dates meeting or family get together.

This restaurant is very consistent in the quality of food it serves. It is a regional cuisine (Bicol) and freshest ingredients are used. Not every Via Mare restaurant have the same quality. This specific location is the only one I recommend.

There are already a lot of Filipino restaurants with their own version of local dishes but I still go to Via Mare because of their merienda fare namely: chicken arroz caldo, pancit palabok, bribingka, puto bumbong and most of all lumpia ubod. The latter is simply the best I have tried. Better than Conti's and the fresh lumpia at Kanin... More
