My friend & I spent attended a wedding reception here at Manila Hotel. We decided to stay here for 3 days and you may call it a staycation as well. We get to enjoy the buffet breakfast here. (The cafe is I think named after a tropical tree with fragrant flowers by the way) You have a lot to choose... More

We were staying at the Manila Hotel and took the dinner buffet on our first night. Lots of staff milling around but all a little rudderless. No visible management presence. Food looked appealing but actually much of it was cool, bordering on cold when we ate it. The fabulous sirloin joint was overcooked and sadly the crab had seen better... More

Wide range of cuisines to choose from. I tasted my first horse meat here in the Filipino section. The Japanese station should not be missed and of course their desserts. The only reason it didn't get a 10 is because of the lay out. I found the sections to scattered.

We only had 30 mins for the buffet because of our schedule and it was clearly not enough time to enjoy the huge and delicious looking selection there. What we sampled was very good. There are different stations for different cuisine: Chinese, Korean, Italian, American, desert, fruit, etc. The best part was that it was included with the room at... More

There's a lot of talk about The Manila Hotel, but what is a landmark without some intriguing history behind it? More than being a place of accommodations, Manila Hotel is a historical building that has witnessed the ravages of history. General Douglas MacArthur and the Beatles stayed there during their only visit to Manila. It has accommodated wined and dined... More

Manila Hotel's Cafe Ilang-Ilang serves a wide variety of delectable dishes. Among our family's favorites are the roast beef, sirloin steak and yummy desserts. They also serve soothing green tea. Waiters are also very friendly and courteous.

For the 3rd or 4th time, our "barkada" decided to have our Christmas get-together dinner at Cafe Ilang-Ilang because of our pleasant experience in the past: good food, nice ambience, spacious place...But our experience last December 16 was not so pleasant at all. The place was too crowded, with so many tables very near each other, the buffet table arrangement... More

Had lunch here last December 23. Tried booking for dinner however it was fully booked. It was my first time to try Cafe Ilang - Ilang and the reason why I've decided to try it was the positive reviews I've read. Because of this, I've set my expectations higher than usual. And it did not disappoint. Service was great, they... More
