This place serves excellent food and the only complaint that I had is about the server/waiter. Every time I go to this branch near Quiapo Church the servers seems not paying attention that much to people that comes in and out or maybe they are confused? A server will approach me when I come in but it takes them 10... More

Despite the heat and humidity, it was a real treat to eat mami from this 'institution'. Yes, its glory is faded based on the yellowing newspaper articles hanging on the walls, the crumbling facade, creaky chairs and elderly staff. One sip, one bite, though, and it should transport you to your memories of how mami and siopao Ought to taste... More

I've been eating at this restaurant since I was a child, and while I truly and genuinely enjoy the food they serve, and have for decades, I have to be very candid with my rating, because I cannot for the life of me get over how the entire place smells like somebody's foot. Don't get me wrong; I consume with... More

Looking very much like the '60s, this eatery is frequented by many because of their meaty and delicious siopaos. They have not renovated the place- how I wish they would do so!

Ma Mon Luk has the best siopao and mami compared to other Chinese restaurants. It still tastes the same as I remember it. What bothers me most is that we went there, we sat on a filthy table and no one was attending to us. We waited approximately 20 minutes. No exaggeration! If you get to see their floor and... More

If you happen to be born in the 70's and 80's, chances are your parents would've taken you to eat at this place. The food there hasn't changed. I can still remember the smell of the Original Mami and Siopao, just like it was in the 70's. The same tables and lounge sofas are there, though the owners should at... More

This must have been the dirtiest restaurant I have ever dined in. My father requested for us to dine here since this has been where he dines for his favorite mami and siopao. The mami is tasteless for me but my father loved it. It must just be nostalgic for him since this is the oldest restaurant in Manila. I... More

After hearing mass at the Quiapo Church I was craving for my favorite special siopao at Ma Mon Luk Restaurant. There were some buildings under renovation along Quezon Boulevard so I didn't find the restaurant right away. I was thinking maybe they have moved out or closed shop but when I inquired from one of the sidewalk vendors I am... More

Unclean place. Rude staff. Poor customer service. We visited this restaurant 2 weeks ago because it's been a while since the last time I tasted their mami and siopao. We arrived around 9 pm thinking that since it's past dinner time there would be less people. True enough, there were still people eating but a lot of tables were already... More
