You go here for the experience and cultural presentation, not for the food. The food is mediocre (some were bad) but the ambience, decor, shows etc. are worth the visit.

Barbara's is located on the upper floor of that white walled building fronting San Agustin Church. It is an effort to climb those stone steps but when you get inside, its like being transported to a 19th century saloon.. The main offering is the dance presentation which showcase the major cultural dances from the northern to southern parts of the... More

I was looking forward to this attraction as I had heard the folk dancing and costumes were wonderful. Congratulations to all the dancers and musicians as they truly put on a great show and are very inclusive welcoming visitors from around the world. The buffet is not great and given the choice again I would attend the show but eat... More

As my title says, the food is an average buffet barely worth mentioning. What you come here for is the after dinner show focusing on the culture of the Philippines. The show is energetic and very well done with fantastic costumes and presentation. If there is one recommendation it would be to turn the volume down as once the show... More

Celebrating our 50th high school reunion, this was one of the highlights of our 3-day event. The buffet selection of Filipino dishes with Spanish influence was outstanding! It was followed by a cultural show which brought back memories of practicing and performing the same dances in school.....many, many moons ago. For fun, some of us even dared to join the... More

The ambience is that of an old Manila house, with solid wood floors, wooden details on wall mouldings and staircase. Service is great, and the show is festive and lively. The tourists who went there seem to enjoy the show, which lasted for about an hour. The musicians are very talented, although the sound amplifier can be improved. After the... More

two in one. fine dining while watching a series of traditional Filipino dance. barbara's is the only restaurant in town i know that offers this kind of entertainment. their food is a smorgasbord of Italian and Filipino dishes. I liked their carbonara even if it has not enough sauce but it did not lose the creamy taste that I often... More

We visited barbaras while in Manila on a business trip. I didn't know what to expect but it really was amazing. The dancing and the music was really enjoyable. We even got called upon to join in on the dance and we had our photo taken. Also they welcome each group individually. The buffet food was delicious so many choices... More

The food is good but shouldn't be the main attraction. Go for the cultural dance show - they have excellent musicians and dancers and they go all out for costumes. Buffet Dinner is at P710.00 but if you just like to grab a drink or desserts (Below P200) you have to pay additional P350 for the show. Reservation during the... More
