Sala is one of the best restaurant in Male, although it small and darky ambiance.Food was very tasty and above expectation. But if you have to remember, Sala more likely fine dining restaurant, you will have no chance to speak out loud or laughing freely...with your friends and families. Consider it before you try to Sala. If you are couple, Sala is the perfect match for you. Price are good and fair , also the food for us ready in a short of time. In Male, you will find lot of restaurant serve you longer even KFC etc, minimum 20 minutes😭. In Sala, less than 10 minutes, all served.More

No amount of words to express how much I have always enjoyed my experience here. Its a little on the pricier side but just close your eyes and savour each bite as the food transports you all the way to Thailand. Owner is very friendly...and attentive, he remembers customers' orders, recommends dishes according to personal preference. The stagf is amazing, doesnt matter how much time passes, they will still remember you on your next visits. It's a great place to just hang out with your friends and also good for business meetings over a meal. Seats are limited, so better reserve ahead if you are going with a big group.More

We were recommended this place actually from another hotel. The food was wonderful. We started out with the satay, dim sum and spring rolls. I had the Pad Thai which I ordered spicy. It had just the right amount of heat that was not overpowering....My wife had the Prawn Curry Pot. Again excellent. The pacing of the meal was spot on. We throughly enjoyed our meal.More

We stayed at the hotel overnight enroute to one of the island resorts and were very impressed. The restaurant has the most amazing, delicious and authentic food. We were traveling with friends who have traveled extensively in Thailand and they were equally impressed. The Thai...cooks all work with very fresh ingredients, flown in directly from Thailand and the flavors and aromas are out of this world. The service staff is extremely attentive, Manoj particularly, though all of them were great. Would highly recommend this restaurant.More

Amazing Thai cuisine. We tried a few dished and were all amazing: the satay, curry, dessert. They have excellent natural juice. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very relaxing and very calm.

This is the restaurant that is attached to the Sala Boutique Hotel (separate review). The food is authentic Thai and delicious, as evidenced by the numerous clients that frequent the establishment. One of the best dishes is a fried whole fish in a garlic sauce...that is accompanied by a green chile dish. So delicious. The curries were also notable. In fact, ALL the dishes we tried ranged from very good to excellent. We even came back the next evening for dinner to try the fish dish again. Unfortunately, it was not available, but the maître d’ suggested that the kitchen could make a similar dish with fillets instead of a whole fish. Just as good. And the mango sticky rice was also good for a repeat order. Did I mention how good the fruit juices were? Mango—yum. Mango/pineapple—yum. Watermelon—yum. Not only were they great accompaniments to our meals, but they really hit the spot when we arrived after a day of sightseeing in Male. The outdoor patio is nicely laid out so that relaxing while having one of the restaurant’s juices quickly became a favorite habit.More

We had 18 hours in Male city before our flight back home. After two hours of walking around in the city (two hours is enough to see everything) with crazy traffic and very crowded everywhere. Stepping in to this nice, clean, quiet restaurant for dinner...was a treat. Superyummy food, we all ate pad thai, and nice service.More
