On Friday 11 March 2016, me and my wife decided to try out the Rib Rack at Champs. We had some barbeque pork and a bowl of Fish Head Noodle while we waited for the full rack of ribs that we were told will take 25 min. A beer and some red wine helped to set the scene for the... More

The best pork noodles. Packed with all the goodies - pork, minced pork, liver, meat balls - this is simply the most delicious pork noodles ever. And you must try the BBQ pork "char siew". Incredibly soft and melts in my mouth and simply out of this world!

Champs is one of the places in KL that serves good, delicious popular hawker fares in an air conditioned comfort. The roasted bbq pork and char siew are just right. Their signature prawn noodles are fragrant, redolent of prawns with generous servings of ribs while the char kuey teow has the quintessential 'wok hei' and come sprinkled with crisp lard... More

Visited this restaurant at Bangsar Shopping Complex recently after a very long absence. The restaurant was previously at Centrepoint, in Bandar Utama where it began very well and made a name for itself. However, slowly standards began to decline while the prices kept increasing. The prices here too, for basically hawker food in fancy surroundings, have once again shot up... More

Champs has been around for about 20 years. However, their location in BSC is relatively new. But newbie, they are not. They dishes are ever-green, all time favourites, and favourites that are done REALLY well. Huge range of options; generous portions; unpretentious surroundings; generally good service. It's a place worth visiting over and over, like a familiar neighbourhood pub restaurant.... More

The way my wife described this place is over-priced hawker food. She may well be right. The food was certainly passable, just not sure it was worth the pricetag. I had pork noodle and surprisingly my complaint is that there were too many goodies and not enough noodles! Bizarre-sounding I know but that is how I felt. My wife had... More

Not sure if this is the same place as there are several place by the same name. I've been to the one on the first floor of Bangsar Shopping Centre several times but it seems each time things are a little worse than before. The restaurant was practically empty the last time I was there and although there are several... More

The best thing about this restaurant is the love and passion for food put into it. The quality of all the ingredients is outstanding. The freshest produce and seafood. Imported meats. Great selection of beers. Order anything and you can't go wrong. The owner, Richard, treats his guests like kings and queens. Don't come here and try to eat simple.... More

Ordered baby pork ribs which turned out to be the worst pork ribs I've ever ate. The meat was so tough that I had to call the waitress to give a sharper knife, which she took from the kitchen. Food also came late. Complaint to the manager and he also admitted that it was wrongly done. No apology was given... More

Been going to Champs at Centerpoint for many years now and always look forward to Prawn mee where the huge bowl would be wiped clean . Hubby would always take Char Kuay Teow and if we are feeling healthy, share a Rojak and if not, then perhaps roast pork starters. Last weekend, we were there for early dinner and to... More
