Nice cosy restaurant with friendly service. Fresh Japanese foods with wide choices. Highly recommend the dish, Gyutongue Wafu.

After having posted a very negative review of the hotel's Japanese restaurant a few months ago, I decided to give it a new try on this visit. Nothing has changed : after being ushered to a table and given the menu, it was impossible to attract a staff member attention in a restaurant half-empty. I left after twenty minutes of... More

I hosted a dinner for 3. The restaurant manager was excellent. He recommended the dishes and when we were over ordering, he advise that we have enough. He created a platter of sashimi, a platter of tempora. We also had excellent grilled Salmon and a platter of mixed sushi. We also had other dishes and all were served with respect... More

I have dined here a few times for dinner. The setting at night time is fantastic and recommended for a little romance. The food is magical and we particularly enjoyed a few pots of warm sake.

Sushi buffet was so bad as staff ate dishes after 2.30pm despite many guests' presence in the restaurant. Furthermore, sushi served there is much different from a photograph shown in the hotel advertisement. (There was no salmon roe sushi at all.) Although the price was very reasonable, U had better go to other sushi restaurants! This restaurant shall not be... More

We love to come here for the delicious food and good service, although during our last visit, they seemed to be short staffed and were slow to refill our tea. We love the sashimi which we found to be really fresh. Sushi was well presented too. Assorted cooked food like unagi finished fast and were quickly replenished. Desserts were most... More

Zipangu is high-end Japanese restaurant, particularly for sushi. The weekend buffet is not to be missed if you are in KL. The price may appear on the upper side if you consider in MYR but remember this is a five star establishment. There is barely any restaurant in Singapore serving these many varieties at this price. All the ingredients used... More

We like its wide variety of lunch sets in a serene minimalist setting restaurant during weekdays. Reasonable price tag with its serving size, consistent quality, attentive service and relaxed ambience. However, it is a let down during the recent visit. The waiter that took our order appeared impatient and without a smile, a vast difference compared to those longer serving... More

I've been a little wary of exploring much more than sushi to be honest apart from Nobu in London a decade ago. So this was a real eye opener. The menu is not too bewildering and we were guided through it by the staff . The most delicious sushi role followed and then an amazing foie gras and duck dish... More
