Step into Oribe and expect to pay premium prices. Not a casual lunch spot unless you spend over 200 ringgit per person for lunches everyday 😅. With the price comes an array of creative, authentic Japanese dishes that will keep your tummy satisfyingly filled. Expect...More

Second visit here for Chef Ori’s omakase menu. Securing a bar counter seating to watch him in action is a definite must. Chef Ori delights not only in his skill, but that he’s also very personable and engages his customers throughout the meal. Every dish...More

My husband and I do not eat sushi and sashimi. Our friends do; hence, we met Chef Nao. Chef Nao Kawasaki not only creatively prepares food but also explains what the ingredients are and where they are sourced. He did not mind answering my questions...More

Ignore the price, the Omakase and Sushi at the Oribe are well and very freshly made. When you see a set dish of these foods in front of you, the art of Japanese cooking is also revealed.

Chef Ori has left ORIBE Sushi and unfortunately it is reflected in the overall atmosphere and food quality. Sadly, the magic has gone and this restaurant has gone from an outstanding sushi establishment to an ordinary one.
