We went there for our university reunion makan. Beware - got babi in the shop! The food was ok. I had the "Real Spaghetti". Yes, the menu says it's real. Their signature spicy pasta - which was like Kin Kin Latt Chew Pan Meen - only infinitely more mahal; but at least the staff here at Jarrod & Rawlins are... More

My main target was to have a good meal with pork. I had come to the right place. We ordered a pork burger and a pork chop. They were delicious. The restaurant is patronized mainly by the expatriates and bikers alike. A Good place to hangout while sipping your pint of Guinness with you buddies. I will be there again... More

Wow..love the food here. We tried their signature spicy pasta, chicken breast gratin and triple pork sandwich. Yup...we LOVE it. The chicken was very tender, cooked with sauted potato, mushroom creamy sauce and vegetables. The pasta was cooked perfect and the sandwich was delicious. They play good 70s and 80s music. Service is fast. Very friendly and ever smiling staff.... More

Second Visit to J&R DH... and yes... they have gone through some menu changes... but IMO, they have cracked it. Great menu, good food, imagination and a real effort to build community venue. Well done guys and keep moving forward.

How awkward and embarrassing should be for a restaurant when a customer sends back the plate to the kitchen asking for the main ingredient to be in his/her plate as mentioned in the menu, minutes later the waiter comes saying: we're sorry we don't have it. They tried to cheat on me giving me Philadelphia spread instead of feta cheese!!... More

J&R used to serve excellent sausages and such; I'd bring some home after dining there. Was there recently and found that the standard of some if their meats have dropped, although their set lunch was value for money. There was an occasion where we ordered set lunch and they forgot to bring the dessert, which was ice cream. Reminded again... More

Just had dinner at J&R. Am a regular. Service at Jln Bangkung is in decline. Prefer the Plaza Damansara outlet. Was served a glass of house red tonight. Almost drank it to the end, then noticed there was a fly in my drink. Glass was replaced with a smaller glass partly filled, it was as if the waitress figured I... More

Called in for a brunch with friends visiting from UK as the men fancied a bacon butty while the girls wanted toasties. Order for the toasties was completely mixed up with wrong bread and no toast while the bacon butty came out slathered in mustard! No where on the menu did it say it came with mustard and I pointed... We stopped by for brunch today and were very happily surprised. We hadn't previously been to this J&R location - well decorated and very light and enjoyable. A continental feel to it we thought. We had the eggs Florentine, and also a scrambled egg with smoked salmon. It turned out to be a generous portion of smoked salmon - -... More
