Branch of original "Tai Chow" restaurant in Peel Road KL. This outlet is run by the sons in Kuchai Entrepreneurs Park. Food is reasonably good but the servings get smaller and the prices have been rising.

Staying nearby the area, I will come here once in a while when we want to have family dinner during festival time and other places are full. The first few times that I got attracted into the shop was due to the fact that there...is a Tripadvisor sticker on the door way. Unfortunately, I have to say, this restaurant is to my disappointment. Firstly, the ambiance is so so and the service is also so so. No one professional to recommend on any dishes, no friendly greeting nor constant checking if dishes arrive on time, how we feel about the food etc. Since my last visit, I actually went on other site to check on reviews about the shop and I have not seen any good comments. Vegetables are just normal taste. Those hawker stall cook can make it better with a more precise level of cook and wok heat. 3 color steam egg is not good. They could have used another type of soy sauce to bring up the taste of it. Other things like sweet pork rib is only sweet and super hard. It is also a place hard to find parking.More

A simple air-conditioned restaurant that served delicious yam basket, butter sotong, homemade taufu and sambal kangkung. However, we did not enjoy steamed Pork With Yam (芋头扣肉- five spice powder too strong and the pork was hard, fried lotus was too bland. Would revisit for the...yam basket and butter sotong -must try.More

Went there twice in Sept and Oct. Ordered crabs and noodles. Their Cantonese Mee Suah is very good. Had it both times. As for crabs, ordered Steamed, Sweet and spicy and Kam Hiong. Steamed crab was good, Sweet and Spicy was ok. Kam Hiong was...ok too. But when we went for the second time, 1 crab was not fresh. The meat was powdery. Spoke to the manager, he claimed that all crabs was live. 1 annoying incident was when we ordered coconut drink. When it arrived, it was 3/4 frozen. I told the manager. He just shrugged it off. I requested to change, but he said he can't as it will make them lose money. What kind of response was that? So, told myself never to return unless I want to eat the Mee Suah onlyMore
