Opted for their Hainanese chicken rice (RM 9) and pigs trotters (RM 13). Food was delicious and served piping hot. Amazing selection of food and so cheap. Beer as usual in KL was expensive but at RM 19 for a 660 ml pretty reasonable.

I remember Seng Kee from way back during an early trip to KL — this was a recommended stopover for post-drinks hangovers. Fast forward a couple of years, Seng Kee managed to retain its old shophouse charm amidst a street that’s evolving with time. Just...More

The fried rice old style is so damn good together with the ku low yok. Try the hot spicy lala soup and of course a plate of yong tow foo. Best time evening with an excepcional ambience in China Town.

No marks for presentation, but a solid 85 points out of a 100 for the Majestic BBQ Pork Noodles. The sauce carried the entire dish and the nicely caramelized char siu was no slouch either.

Didn’t want to eat Hokkien mee. And the back lane eating place wasn’t open on that day. So went here. No lousy food. But nothing to shout about.

Seng Kee is a lively restaurant on a surprisingly busy street at the top (bottom? side?) of Chinatown. The restaurant itself is made up of a large dining room -- basic white-tiled room with fluorescent lights -- with an open front, and there are several...More

Is an old restaurant in China town famous with pearl noodle pot. One of the tourist attractions, however the hygiene level of the restaurant is not very clean as we found one of the utensil is not properly washed and floor was dirty. The staff...More

The look of the restaurant was so unassuming I actually walked past it without realising. When I finally realised my blunder, I was a little skeptical about the food. Let's just say I swallowed my initial comments when I sank my mouth into their "Lao...More

While the food here isn't bad, it's also not that good. The bbq pork and noodles is served in much more oily sauce that you would normally get on bbq pork noodles and the bits of pork are chewy and fatty with some hard pieces...More

This place is well known for its claypot pearl noodle which I agree taste good, every ingredient blended so well. But the place is horrible with bad service, other dishes were just oily and simply/roughly served. Expensive.
